Description
Hi, I'm Nich (Nick)
Happy to take anyone interested.
I live in a beautiful rainforest an hour from Melbourne and I'm always looking for fun and energetic Workawayers.
My house used to be a BnB and has two beautiful bedrooms for workaway guests - both with ensuite and doors to balcony where you can hear the creek run by. I enjoy good wholesome food and will feed you well.
In return I expect my workawayers to complete between 20-25 hours of work per week depending on the tasks. You are welcome to complete more hours each day and have more days off. I'm happy to drive you to local interests such as the Healesville Sanctuary, wineries or into Healesville/Yarra Glen on your free days.
I live a busy, but relaxed existence and work from home. I tend to go to bed early and get up early, but you don't have to! I eat pretty healthy food but you're welcome to bring any sugary snacks you like. I don't usually drink alcohol during the week, but again, you are welcome to bring your own.

My place is very private and set amongst 150ft gum trees and tree ferns, there are two streams running through the property. If you love nature and being outdoors this is a great place for you.
I travel for work a bit and like to get away to the beach, so people happy to have some time here to themselves with my beautiful three dogs welcome.

Jobs are varied and can include help with ongoing building on the house, gardening, collecting and splitting wood , and general clean ups which are required on a larger property.

I have two rooms available, both with ensuite, and doors to a balcony, we can set up additional beds if necessary. When I have many people staying you may need to share a room.

I live about 10 minutes from Healesville, the closest town and can easily drop you in there to pick up supplies, visit local artists or do other jobs.
The area is famous for wine and food, there are many wineries you can visit within 20km of our property. Also some great places to eat yummy local food too.

Nich is very friendly and open-mind people. His house is surrounded by beautiful nature and I had a great experience there. His dogs are very cute and we often played with them during free time. I recommend him to not only experienced workers, but also beginners. We wanna go back and work in his house someday!

Nich is a great person. We felt right at home with him. After explaining the rules with Pixi the dog, we became friends very quickly. Nich lives in a little paradise, where many parrots always drop by and beg for food.

It was lovely to have the girls come and stay with us on their first trip OS! They were very polite and helpful while staying with us, we really enjoyed having them and we are sorry we happened to be so busy while they stayed. I'm sure they will have a great time travelling in Australia.

Kim and Nich were our first hosts in Australia and we felt at home immediately. Even though they were very busy during the time we have been there , they cooked delicious meals and made sure that we had enough to eat and would give us everything we needed.
