Hi all and welcome to our homestead, we have recently immigrated from the UK to the glorious part of Central portugal near the pretty villages of Fundão.
We are a young family of four with 2 children of ages 11 & 8 and currently establishing a 5 hectare offgrid/homestead, here on the land there is a lot of fun work based activities that we are doing in amongst renovating a small village house close by.
At the moment we only have 2 well behaved dogs on the land but plan to have more animals next year including chickens, sheeps etc, we can accommodate enthusiastic people willing to get involved and learn different types of building work with us.
Our place has really beautiful views of the local Gardunha mountain range and also different villages close by to look at in the evenings.
There are many local shops/cafes/walks/river beaches etc.
We are open year round to welcome workawayers and would love you to share this beautiful place with us here

Steve come from a building background in the UK and had his own established business for many years so can do quite a fair bit of work but that being said theres definitely always more to learn so he's always open to new ideas from others too.

Ok so currently we are working in different aspects, Victoria usually takes and picks up the kids to school most days but has lots of running around to do while designing our village property and doing what she can on the land in her spare time.. Steve is out working/building the renovation project and then comes home most days to (what he calls playing on the land) building different structures in preparation for accommodations next year. There's lots of fun work to do here, workawayers can help on the land with building projects that vary widely, but mainly consist for now clearing land, structures for communal areas, fencing shelters for animals etc. Workawayers will not be taking care of our kids alone and will only be assisting steve or victoria.. We are very down to earth people who can have a good laugh 😃

We can only speak English but are happy to take others we different languages
Alojamiento
We can provide camping tents at the moment but also plan to have some safari style tents soon on the land too, one of the jobs we can do together is to build the platforms and set these up also if you like!
You are also welcome to sit with us as a family and share meals with us or if you like your own space then you can also take some.food away and have some time to yourself also.

We can take you to many beautiful spots on our days off including many different river beaches, these can be remote or local and are truly stunning locations.
Wr also have here a swimming pool on the land now here too and that will be great to end the day watching the sunsets!
