I stayed at Angie's house for four weeks and had a great time. Even though work was sometimes difficult, Angie was considerate and didn't worry about the time. She also turned out to be an excellent cook of gluten-free recipes. The place is cozy, with a Smart TV in your room. I would definitely recommend her.

We were living with Angie for two weeks in July. Our jobs were: cutting trees, cleaning garden, swimming pool and kitchen, chop woods and clean up dogs poop in the yard. The tasks were not difficult. We had interesting talks with Angie and she has great sense of humor. Also we were living with seven lovely dogs and even swam in the pool together 😄

I had a fantastic time with Angie and the dogs. It was incredibly hard and emotional to leave. Angie is very passionate about the rescue and welfare of poorly treated dogs in Spain and the time she takes to find them new homes is admiral. The accomadation was large, comfortable and private plus Angie's cooking for really good! I wouldn't hesitate

It was our second workaway and we liked it. Angie and Phil are great people. We had a lot of laughs. The everyday chores were easy. Dogs were really cute and funny. We loved them so much, miss u Charly. If you want to travel to Spain,we highly recommend come to this family!

I had an awesome time here with Angie, Phil, and all the dogs, chickens, and cat. It didn't feel like work because the puppies and dogs kept me happy and laughing the whole time. Staying with Angie and Phil was a great experience, they made me feel at home from day 1 and treated me like family. Obviously I fell in love with their adorable dogs and puppies and it was hard to leave.
Angie is so dedicated to the dog rescue and I feel really lucky having been a part of the amazing work she does.

… read more volunteering there, you should not expect a fixed schedule. The work spreads towards the day since all the dogs and pups need to be taken care of regularly. The work is not too hard though and I found it to be very rewarding (especially caring for the sick pups!). The village is very calm, so the place suits someone who Just enjoys being around a bunch of lovely dogs rather than a party animal. Oh and never leave things unattended, Leo (one of my favourites. <3) eats EVERYTHING :D

The village is quiet but you can have fun visiting the nearby villages or going to Alicante, if you need info about the buses please don't hesitate to contact me.
