Dina was incredible, her energy and ability to organise and declutter was exceptional. She is a whirlwind. We achieved so much. Most of the time I let her get on with it because she suggested this and I felt overwhelmed by the task and I was so pleased with results, astonishing. She totally reorganised my garage and organised my spare room/dumping
… read more ground, linen cupboard. Cupboards. Dina is has done this as a paying job in the past and I feel very lucky she came to help me. I felt like a weight had been lifted. She breathes new life/ energy into your home.
Her English is excellent.

I spent 9 days at Kate’s home !!
Beautiful house, lovely colourful garden, peace full neighbourhood. The room were I stayed with a view to the front garden was perfect.
The sun coming in through the window made my day. The big bathroom just outside the room was perfect.
We ate fresh healthy organic food which was wonderful.

… read more while we were in the garden having coffee with Kate planning our day or working together.
The help she needed was working in the garden, and other small projects, fixing things, sewing, cleaning outside furniture and helping her to cook.
I organised the garage and one of the rooms upstairs also. Kate is very friendly, kind, smart and made me feel very comfortable during my stay.
Carcassone is a very nice city to discover
For me the highlight during my days there, was taking the boat that goes along the Canal MIDI in front of the train Station, a 25 mins. walk from the house, I loved it!
On my last day she invited me to lunch in front of the Canal MIDI which was lovely, the perfect way to end my special stay there.
I recommend for sure staying at Kate’s lovely home. It was a very nice experience and I hope to come back again in the future !!

… read more some areas of Carcasonne i wouldn't have found on my own. We had nice and interesting chats while walking and i enjoyed the beautiful nature there. Carcasonne is a beautiful small city with the beautiful medieval castle. I did a tour about the 2nd world war resistence, which Kate recommended to me, which was really interesting!
If i am in this area again i will certainly contact her again.

Kate was a super nice host. Our relationship was totally based on trust. I came to her house even when she was away for a few days. My goal was to play the piano to compose a song, and I did. The room was sunny and comfortable. Then she arrived and we focused on different tasks, like weeding, painting, moving plants, objects, cleaning the house
… read more for new visitors, but also sharing meals and nice chats. Kate is an open-hearted and open-minded person. She introduced me to her friends and we were also at a wonderful concert. Listening to her nice collection of cd's, and also watching some series. Kate's house is a wonderful place, in a privileged neighbourhood, quiet and well connected. I had an amazing time at kate's, she is really friendly and open to conversations. We did some fixing up around the house and she would also lend a hand when necessary. Carcassonne is a beautiful town aswell, especially the medieval centre. If you're looking for a restaurant I can suggest L'Ostal in the medieval centre :)

I feel very lucky to have met Peter. He was amazing, walking into my life at my hour of need.... having met him only the night before, he came back to take my dog to the vet to be 'put to sleep'. He then agreed to stay on for a week, partially to keep me company and then was incredibly helpful with doing lots of practical things in the house. Repairing wood and replacing panes of glass. Putting up some lights and running a cable for a second light. He is very capable and careful and makes sure he does a good job. He cleaned for me when asked which i appreciated. I enjoyed my time with Ann and she was brilliant at knowing her way around the computer. She was with me for the last three weeks of my dog Poppy's life. She was very attentive to her needs and incredibly supportive when it came to saying goodbye.
