I’ve been a Workaway host for several years and have had wonderful experiences.
This summer, I invite you to stay at my home for one week.
I'm looking for women or couples only – I don't host solo male travelers.
The help I need is quite varied, so please read the full description to see if your profile might be a good fit.
If you have something else interesting to offer, feel free to suggest it!
I'm happy to host people who want to share their time, knowledge, and interests in a relaxed and enriching environment. I'm a secondary school teacher and always eager to learn and grow. I’d love to have your company and support in some personal projects, while we learn from each other.
1. Help with Digital Tools and Creativity
I have a lot of material from my classes, and I’d like to learn how to turn it into engaging digital resources. You don’t need to be an expert—if you're comfortable using tools like PowerPoint, Canva, basic video editors, or are curious about AI, your help would be appreciated.
• Brainstorming simple ways to digitize teaching materials (presentations, videos, blogs, etc.)
• Sharing basic skills in audio/video editing, Moodle, or educational social media
• An informal introduction to modern tools, including AI, if you're familiar with them
2. Conversations About Career Change
I'm exploring new career paths and would enjoy exchanging ideas with someone who has experience in changing jobs, freelancing, or traveling.

• Helping me improve how I express myself in other languages when applying for jobs
3. Healthy Lifestyle and Wellbeing
I'm trying to adopt healthier habits and would love to share this journey with someone. I’m not looking for professional advice, just mutual support and exchange of ideas that have worked for you.
• Cooking healthy meals together
• Doing some physical activity, yoga, or going for walks
• Practicing relaxation or self-care routines
4. Artistic Projects Just for Fun
If you're into music, theatre, or dance, we could do something creative together. I play a bit of piano, sing, percussion, and recorder.
5. Language Exchange
I’d like to refresh my English, French, or German in a natural way. We can talk, watch films, read, or simply live daily life using the language you’re willing to share.
My availability to host this summer is as follows:
– From July 1 to July 8
– From August 4 to August 13
– Possibly also a few days in the second half of August

I am also a workawayer (already in Spain, France, Canada and Japan)

We will spend a couple of hours together each day.
I expect you to help for 25 hours per week.
I’ll make sure you have plenty of free time to enjoy Salamanca, where you’ll find many opportunities to practice your Spanish.
You can also visit many beautiful villages and towns nearby.
Please note: no visitors are allowed in my apartment

I live in a flat in the very city center of town
You will have a room and a toilet for yourself
The kitchen and living room are common spaces
The flat is decorated by me. I find it is cosy.
It has plenty of natural light and is very warm through central heating
