  Hello, Works Ways Community!
  
  My husband, Daniel, and I, along with our 3-year-old twin boys, live in the beautiful mountain town of Pemberton, BC. We recently moved into a newly built 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom townhome, and we love the peaceful yet adventurous lifestyle here. Pemberton is just 30 minutes north of Whistler, North America’s largest ski resort, giving us access to world-class skiing, mountain biking, and stunning hiking trails right in our backyard. We also have amazing local coffee shops, bakeries, and a tight-knit community to enjoy.
  
  We are a very active family, we spend winters skiing and summers mountain biking, and our boys are just as energetic! They love riding their run bikes, exploring pump tracks, hitting up playgrounds, swimming, and this winter, they’ll be starting ski school for the first time. Daniel is an engineer and I am an emergency nurse in town.
  
  At home, we follow a healthy vegetarian diet, and we love cooking and baking together as a family. Canadian holidays are a big deal for us! We always celebrate with friends and family, combining good food, outdoor sports, and lots of laughter.
  
  We are seeking a responsible and mature adult to support us with child and home support for 25 hours per week, typically spread over 5 days with 5 hour shifts each day, and two days off. The schedule would include a mix of morning shifts (approximately 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM) and afternoon shifts 4pm-9pm. And for this support, we offer 1000 $ CAD/month, plus accommodation and food. We are a very flexible family and are happy to accommodate flexibility in our schedules to support your time off.
  
  We provide healthy food options and you are more than welcome to join in our mealtimes together as a family. We offer a nice furnished private bedroom with fresh linens and a clean bathroom with a shower and bathtub (our boys use this tub approximately 2-3/week for bath time, otherwise, it's yours! We are very warm, honest and considerate family and we expect the same from our volunteers.

  Pemberton and Whistler, BC, are the heart of outdoor adventure and a vibrant social scene. Known for world-class skiing, snowboarding, and mountain biking, the area is perfect for active, nature-loving people. Beyond the trails, there’s a great nightlife with live music, great pubs, and plenty of events like the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, Crankworx, and Cornucopia. Whether you love skiing or enjoying the local scene, there’s always something fun and exciting happening year-round!
  We are looking for someone who respect our family home both during their working and off hours.

  Arbeit

  We don’t have any pets, but we are looking for some extra help with our twin toddlers. We’d love someone who can take them to playgrounds, playgroups, engage them in reading and creative play, and help with driving them to and from ski school. Light household chores and meal prep would also be part of the role to help keep our household running smoothly.
  We are seeking child and home support for around 25 hours per week, typically spread over 5 days with 4-5 hour shifts each day, and two days off. The schedule would include a mix of morning shifts (approximately 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM) and afternoon shifts.

  Unterkunft

  You’ll have your own room, complete with a comfy bed, a new mattress, cozy bedding, and a closet. The bathroom comes with a tub and shower (our boys use the tub approx. 3 times per week, otherwise its all yours :)
  
  We are vegetarian and love eating fresh, local vegetables and fruits. Some of our favorite meals include soups, Buddha bowls, curries, tacos, and we have a pizza oven for our fun pizza nights!

  In your free time, you can enjoy skiing, mountain biking, exploring the trails, joining the gym, or relaxing at our local coffee shops. You can also meet new people through various activity groups, and we’ll help connect you with like-minded friends. Feel free to join us for movie nights, and you’re always welcome to join in on any holidays or trips we take during your time here. We’ll treat you like family.

  We have high-speed fiber optic internet, and you’re welcome to work from your bedroom or at the kitchen table. The local coffee shops are also great spots to work, and the public library (just a 3-minute walk from our home) is another excellent option.
