Yumi was a Workawayer in our place for three weeks. She is a reliable person who is always ready to work. She helped us is in our garden by doing the autumn jobs. Agi, est une femme de plein d'énergie ! Pendants 5 mois elle nous a aidé beaucoup avec nos enfants ( baby sitting) , avec la maison ( rénovation, entretien) et avec du jardin ( entretien).
Très belle ( première) expérience avec une workawayer énergétique, flexible , souriante !! Je le recommande vivement ! J'espère que on se revoit un jour !

I arrived in Semur-en-Auxios in December for a super family where I helped with house renovation work, tasks related to 3 children (8-6 year old girls and a 15 month old boy) and garden work..

We carried out the renovation work first..
It was a huge challenge to renovate a bedroom, an 11-meter corridor and a laundry room ...
All three rooms had very old wallpaper in several layers, which we removed / scraped off the walls with great effort..
This was followed by the repair and sanding of the walls .. finally the multi-layer painting of the walls ..
We did this by sharing it with the host, Esther, working alternately, or caring for the youngest child in the family..
This work was accompanied by terrible dust and dirt ... but the result is fantastic .. stunning sight .. brilliant cleanliness everywhere ... 😉😃❤️🌷🌞
My work continued with cleaning the house after the renovation.
In the corridor..! 12 doors! .. + wooden stairs with decorative railings, which I cleaned with a wood preservative treatment ..
This was followed by cleaning the wooden shutters on the 5 doors and 5 windows on the ground floor, which was a huge challenge..
These shutters (!!) have 2320 narrow slits (!!) .. and both sides of the shutters need to be cleaned ... but look for practical tools ... (there is hardly anything .. but eg your fingers are there .. hahaha. ..) it's February .. the wind is blowing .. it's cool .. it's raining .. but the weather was never pleasant ... my fingers almost freeze from the rapidly cooling water and the unpleasant weather ..the big fight .. the big suffering ... but I did it ..hahahaha ... 😉🙃🙄😰😁😜😎. .
It was also a big challenge to remove a lot of paint residue and dust from the stone pavement of the corridor ... (11 meters .. I rubbed, polished the stone .. I climbed 11 meters on my knees twice, while the stone was completely clean ..). .😉😃
My work continued with the cleaning of the cassette glass of the external and internal doors and windows (outside and inside..more than .. ! 1000 small, cassette glass ..! ..) .. 🤔😉🙃😁😎
In the meantime, I often take care of the kids and help with other jobs, cleaning the whole house regularly..
Another challenge was to clean the 40 m long fence inside and out .... (the task is 358 plastic fence slats + support structure .. + columns .. 2 entrance gates ..) ... extremely tiring, frustrating work .. but this I also did it successfully .. 😉😁🙃😳😎
I cleaned the driveway of the long gravel car leading to the garage from the plants constantly popping up among the pebbles .. I cut the garden plants into shape .. sometimes I watered .. sometimes I picked weeds ..
And there is Mila, the kitten of the family .. with whom there is mutual love at first sight .. I often fed, took care of her, played with her ... I love and love ... ❤️❤️❤️🐾🐾 🐾🐾
We first agreed that my work here would last until the end of March… but I finally spent 5 months with this lovely family where there were many challenges ..
I spent a lot of time with the kids .. the two princesses and the little Babyboy were fantastic .. it was a lot of fun .. lots of games .. lots of useful things in common .. and lots and lots of new knowledge. . for everyone ...❤️❤️❤️🌷🌞
I often walked big. I discovered every nook and cranny of this beautiful medieval town..
The family and I were on a trip to Dijon twice, which was a great experience..
After 10 years in the Swedish environment, it was finally a great feeling to speak Hungarian in my mother tongue..
Every moment of my time with family was a wonderful experience that I take with me as I continue my adventurous journey ...
