  We're a Turkish family living in Karsiyaka, Izmir, Turkiye. Karsiyaka, Izmir is just like a pearl of the country with modern locals living around where you can find very delicious Turkish food, nice weather and very friendly people. We live in a unit of a block with one separated guest room and our location is very close to the shore with recreation areas for sports, parks and cafes around. We are both experienced tour guides in English language and trying to improve our sons' (aged 6 and 11) English with learning different cultures. They are both cute boys and open to communication with a deep interaction. Our elder son speaks fluent English and little one is trying to learn and understand. We usually need a reliable person at home staying with kids especially after their school, spending some time with them while we are on work outside. Our busy time is usually 8 weeks of a period in May-June and another 8 weeks in September-October. We have had an experience with hosting a Greek young lady at our home for 6 weeks and we loved her staying with us and had great time together. Our kids are used to meet foreigners since our main business is in tourism sector and hosting people in the country and helping them having experiences in our lives. We'd be so happy with meeting more people in our area indeed.

  You can join our family tours with our kids and visit ancient ruins around, explore natural habitat of forests during hikes and going beaches and picnic together. You can take our kids to museums around. We like to learn different cuisines, languages , travel experiences from the hosts.

  Arbeit

  We need English speaking travelers (priority is mother tongue) who'd be interested to spend time with our two lovely sons at home and around. They've been learning English, so it'd be great for them learning more vocabulary and English grammar, as well. Maybe you'd need to take our little son to the school or meeting him at the school and taking him back home. Preparing some cooked food on the table and share the meals. Helping them learning English at home. Maybe help them to study English on the board, reading books and watching movies together.

  Yes, that'd be very exited to exchange the mother tongues from each other. As a couple we're both very fluent in English but we'd love to learn different languages and our sons improve their English while your stay with us.

  Unterkunft

  We live in a unit on the 4th floor of an apartment with our 8 neighbors. Our block is only 5 minutes away from the seashore and very close to metro, tram and bus stations. Shopping area is only few minutes away from our house. Our apartment has 3 separated bedrooms and one large living room. OWe keep one of the bedroom for our guests with comfortable bed and a library.
  
  We regularly cook Turkish food at home and don't expect our guest to cook for our kids. We don't usually order food from outside, prefer to cook ourselves. Our elder son likes cooking in the kitchen and would love to share cooking experiences with our hosts.

  Was noch ...

  You can explore our city of Izmir on your own on weekends. There are many beaches and historical sites around and all of them are not too far. You may use public transportation system to explore around from our home easily.
  We have summer house in a resort town one hour driving away and we may spend few weekends in there. You may either stay at home on your own or join us and spend the weekend with us.
  You can NOT bring foreigners to our home without taking a permission from us. And we don't like our guests leaving home very late and arriving home in the morning time. We don't drink alcohol much and we hope our guest doesn't drink every day. We speak politely and in a low voice between each other, we expect our guest loves kids and not to speak loudly to us.
