  Nice to meet you, I'm Sampé :)
  
  Together with a group of friends, we decided 3 years ago to create an eco-place that aims to be self-sufficient. Taking our inspiration from the micro-farming models of tomorrow, which are both sustainable and resilient, we invested in a small piece of land nestling in the middle of the Corsican scrubland, where we are developing several activities in parallel: sustainable and permanent agriculture, and education and awareness-raising about biodiversity and its conservation.
  
  We also work on various eco-construction projects (dry toilets, tool sheds, solar dryer, tide tables, semi-buried greenhouse, outdoor kitchen, etc.)
  
  The garden is a place of life, meeting and sharing. We will be happy to welcome you if you want to learn gardening by immersing yourself in wild nature and discovering our simple and authentic way of life.

  Avec une bande de copains, nous avons décidé il y a 3 ans de créer un éco-lieu qui tend à l'auto-suffisance. En nous inspirant des modèles de micro-fermes de demain, à la fois durables et résilientes, nous avons investi un petit bout de terre niché en plein maquis Corse sur lequel nous développons plusieurs activités en parallèle : agriculture durable et permanente & éducation et sensibilisation à la biodiversité et à sa conservation.
  
  Nous travaillons également sur différents projets d'éco-construction (toilettes sèches, cabanes à outil, séchoir solaire, tables à marrées, serre semi enterrée, cuisine extérieure...)
  
  Le jardin est un lieu de vie, de rencontre et de partage. On se fera une joie de vous recevoir si vous souhaitez apprendre le jardinage en vous immergeant dans la nature sauvage et découvrir notre mode de vie simple et authentique.

  Nous vous guiderons à la découverte de notre île de beauté en vous faisant découvrir sa faune, sa flore mais également sa culture et sa gastronomie à travers les recettes traditionnelles de notre grand mère de 97 ans.
  
  Nous vous permettrons d'expérimenter un mode de vie conscient au plus proche de la nature. Nous vous partagerons notre philosophie, nos expériences et nos connaissances en matière de botanique, d' agronomie et d'homéopathie...

  Arbeit

  Workawayers will help to contribute to the smooth running of community life and the association by taking part in day-to-day tasks and setting up the various projects run by the association.
  
  Depending on the season, you'll be able to lend a hand in the community vegetable garden: direct or greenhouse sowing, planting, pruning, harvesting, maintenance, weeding and plant care. You'll learn about the different techniques for propagating plants: grafting, cuttings, marcotage. You'll get involved in the eco-building projects under way: dry toilets, activity terrace, tool shed, wooden henhouse, etc. You'll also help with fencing and animal care. Finally, you can also help transform some of the produce for community consumption (tomato sauce, jams, flower syrup, kimchi, brandy, etc.).
  
  
  Les workawayers pourront participer au bon fonctionnement de la vie communautaire et de l'association en prenant part aux tâches liées à la vie quotidienne et à la mise en place des différents projets portés par l'association.
  
  En fonction des saisons, vous pourrez donner un coup de main au potager communautaire : semis direct ou en serre, plantation, taille, récoltes, entretien, désherbage, soins aux plantes. Vous apprendrez les différentes techniques de multiplications de plantes : greffes, bouturage, marcotage. Vous interviendrez sur les projets d'éco-constructions en cours : toilettes sèches , terrasse d'activité, cabane à outils, poulailler en bois etc.. Vous aiderez à l'installation de clôtures, participerez aux soins des animaux. Enfin, vous pourrez aussi aider à transformer une partie de la production pour la consommation communautaire (sauce tomate, confitures, sirop de fleurs, kimchi, eau de vie..).

  Unterkunft

  In terms of accommodation, we live in the garden from March to November. We welcome you in Saharan tents, some of which are equipped with a wood stove. We also have a small room for 1 person located in a caravan near the common area. The shower is solar-powered and the common areas are mostly outdoors. In winter (from January to March) we have the possibility of housing you with us in a small village house located 20 minutes from the garden. We can also accommodate people who have their own van.
  
  Regarding the food, we usally provide 3 meals per day (breakfast, lunch & dinner). We use to cook and eat all together. However, we can also welcome people who want to help 3h/day - 5days/week with no meal included.
  
  
  En termes de logement, nous vivons au jardin de mars à novembre. Nous vous accueillions dans des tentes sahariennes, certaines étant équipées de poêle à bois. Nous avons également une petite chambrette pour 1 personne située dans une caravane près de l’espace commun. La douche est solaire et les parties communes sont pour la plupart en extérieur. L’hiver (de janvier à mars) nous avons la possibilité de vous loger avec nous dans une petite maison de village située à 20 min du jardin. Nous pouvons aussi accueillir des personnes qui ont leur propre van.

  You can enjoy your afternoons to visit the Valinco Gulf , a micro region that is most preserved and authentic with its wild beaches, coves, seaside or mountain villages, rivers, hiking, canyoning... There is little public transport, but you can easily hitchhike. We have a bike at your disposal, the first beach is 1km away. We can also sometimes drop you off in town, at the beach or at the river during our trips.
  
  Vous pourrez profiter de vos après-midis pour visiter le golfe du Valinco, une micro région des plus préservée et authentique avec ses plages sauvages, criques, villages de bord de mer ou de montagne, fleuves, randonnées, canyoning... Il y a peu de transports en commun, mais vous pourrez très facilement faire du stop. Nous avons un vélo à disposition, la première plage se trouvant à 1km. Nous pourrons aussi parfois vous déposer en ville, à la plage ou à la rivière lors de nos déplacements.
