Beschreibung
We are looking for a reliable wa, who wants to join our family life (long stay most welcome).
We are a family of five happy humans living in northen Italy in a small farm in the countryside 15 minutes by car from Como. We, dad Daniele, Mom Anna (both 44), two boys 16 and 14 and a girl 12, live in a comfortable house with garden, vegetable garden, a small farm and swimming pool. We live near the woods, in a rural area with cows and horse stables close by. We have a female german shepherd, chickens, quails and rabbits, that we slaughter in autumn. We need help with the daily routines of the farm and kitchen garden and general maintenance, like DIY and building projects.
We are a quite active family. We like to spend time outside and with friends. We cycle, spend time in the backyard, swim in summer, enjoy our spare time, eat healthy food but we do also enjoy crappy fast food. Our hobbies are different: we do love hiking in the mountains, fitness (we have a gym in the basement), working in the garden. My husband is definitely a car man! He is an entrepreneur and a very busy man. I have a huge passion for foreign languages and cultures, a passionate photographer too. Whenever possible we love travelling as much as we can, host friends, doing sport, swimming and hiking, skiing and snowboarding (winter), gardening and breeding animals.
Our children are proactive, full of energy, curious and lovely. F. does Judo and plays the drums. M. is into contemporary dance. M. is fond of downhill and go karting. They love Minecraft, video games, drawing, dancing. Moreover they like to organize parties with friends (fun-loving teens).

Every single day is a fresh start!
Live in a family with teens means to laugh every day, be more active and patient than you can imagine (drama), be the hero in many situations (also for us as parents), notice the little things, have new siblings and friends...
Teens find true happiness while spending time with our wa and they love making new friends.
We already hosted 13 au pairs and 8 wa in the past and we would like to get to know other fantastic people.

Arbeit
Since we have 3 teens we are looking for a responsible and careful wa, adaptable, flexible, and self-motivated as well.
Our wa schould be fun loving with common sense and initiative. It will be appreciate if you could teach us whatever you can do. Please, do not be shy!
Your tasks might be, (but not exclusively):
- simple housekeeping/cooking: help tidying up the house, clean common spaces, take out the trash in the evenings
- feed the animals and help keeping cages and chickenhouse clean in the mornings
- gardening/planting /watering
- cleaning and sorting old stuff
- helping with construction
- doing some creative project on your own initiative (painting, installations, art work, decoration, we do love creative people!)
- performing your especially useful skill
5 hours per day, 5 days/week or approx a total of 25 h per week. We are very flexible and we expect you to talk openly about any expectations you might have.

One of our kids has Asperger syndrome therefore we need someone who is highly sweet, careful and sensitive. The eldest son has diabetes but he’s independent in the administration of insulin.
We consume gluten and lactose-free foods on a daily basis.
In your spare time you can decide whether you want to join us in family activities or take your own time in free.
Please note that smoking, alcohol, party and night life are NOT appreciated. NO depression treatment or mental issues! We have teens!!

We would appreciate if you could correct the kids while speaking so they can reach a higher English level. At the moment they have a B1. We extend our hospitality to those who may not be fluent in English, opening our doors to communication in their native language.
Unterkunft
Bedroom with bed, wardrobe, desk with chair and your bathroom. We provide free internet access at home and a bicycle. We offer half-board as well.
We would like our wa to have supper with us since we love to share experiences and learn from each other.
It wouldn’t be a problem if you are vegetarian but not so easy if you are vegan, cause we provide our children a variegated diet. Many products come from our small farm, like rise, meat, chicken, eggs...

We live in a village near Como (15 min by car), a small town 45 Km from Milano and 30 km from Lugano (Switzerland).
We live in a comfortable house with garden and pool, close to the woods and several stables where you can go horseback riding.
In our village there's a Kneipp path with cold baths where feet and ankles are pleasantly massaged by walking in the water and on the stones. This therapy has a wonderful beneficial effect on blood circulation.
You can also find many routes for cycling and mountain biking.
Close to our home there’s the bus stop (500m) and all you need (1 km) like supermarkets, shopping center, green areas, shops, library, church and gym.
You can visit Como and its beautiful lake, Milano and many other cities in our region.
Switzerland isn't far away, only 15 min to Chiasso and from there 40 min to Lugano by train.
