  Beschreibung

  I live with my family in a farmhouse in the swiss hills. One part of the house is our home, in the other part I have a small guesthouse. The house is surrounded by a big garden, meadows and the forest. Our family is my husband, our two sons (14 & 19), dog Katana, cat Chase, rooster Jack with his chicken, waran Godzilla and two little frogs.
  Having my own guesthouse gives me a lot of freedom for my passions- the garden, handcrafting, upcycling old furniture, building new areas and make the old ones better. For me, our little farm is a place full of magic and I love to share this wonderful hidden corner with the world.
  We are very uncomplicated and easy going, love meeting people and are full of new ideas and projects.
  Since we’re planning some remodelling of the house, our living space isn’t huge at the moment. So our caravan at the edge of the forest serves as our private guestroom and would be yours for your stay.

  We are an open family and always interested in meeting new people. With us, you meet a maybe not very common swiss family with some spirit for adventure. We’re curious about what brought you to our place and happy to let you join our live for a moment 😊

  Arbeit

  Since I’m taking care of all the surrounding by myself, there’s always a lot to do in the garden, like mowing the grass, watering plants, harvesting what’s ready,…
  It’s also possible to work on a new project, this could be creating a herbal garden, refreshing the sunset place on the hill, improve the caravan, help my son with the tree house or with the quale habitat (maybe you even bring another great idea 😉).
  If you are more into animals, our dog Katana is always happy about a walk to the waterfall or a play partner.
  You are a good chef? We love good food, but sometimes I almost forget about cooking time over my projects 😅
  
  Bottom line, many different possibilities are waiting, depending on your abilities and passions.
  I would also like to point out that you will not have to to any work in the guesthouse like cleaning up the rooms, which I do with my cleaning lady Anna.

  We speak swiss german and English at home. My french used to be quite good, some exercise would help for sure. As we lived in Israel for two years, me and my husband have basic hebrew skills. Last but not least, we speak some italian.

  Unterkunft

  During the summer, we provide our small, simple caravan in the garden. It’s equipped with a big bed, a chemical toilet, a small fridge, coffee machine and a little kitchen corner.
  Fresh water from the spring is directly behind the caravan. You further have a small private sitting area with view over the garden and the valley.
  You are always welcome in our home for showering, cooking or just having a chat with a coffee, a glass of wine,..
  From October, we can offer a room in our guesthouse, where we will live during the construction works.
  Unfortunately, the wifi doesn’t reach the caravan. If you need internet access, you are welcome at any time to come to the house.
  Important: our dog is usually somewhere in the house or the garden. She loves people who love her. If you don’t like dogs, we’re not the right place for you.
  We cook dinner every evening. During the day, I’m usually alone here so I eat whenever I’m hungry. There’s always food and it’s your choice if you like to join our meals or prefer to make some food in the caravan. We cook fresh and try to cook as healthy as possible, my husband is for sure the best chef in the family.

  Jack, Jills and the Girls

  Rooster Jack, his seven Jills and the six Girls live nearby the Caravan. You should be ok with Jack greeting the morning. Therefore, you‘ll get fresh eggs every day.

  

  Chase George the Dragon (11 Jahren)

  Our Cat Chase is always somewhere around the house. As he and the dog aren’t best friends, he decided that the guesthouse is his kingdom. Whenever you meet him, he’ll enjoy some cuddles.

  

  Katana (5 Jahren)

  Katana is our energetic mix breed (we assume Malinois/Pitbull and probably some mor breeds) forever puppy. As she chases each and every object that moves fast, walks are only possible on the leash. She moves freely in our big garden. She loves training, playing and is obsessed with swimming and diving. As she has a strong sense for people it is important that you love dogs. Once she feels you love her, you will get a lot of love back.
