I am trying to build a center of experimentation with new ecological technologies, right on the shores of Punta De Lobos, one of the most epic waves on the planet. We’re just a 500m walk from the wave, which you can hear from the yurts and garden, so its nice and easy to check the conditions when you fancy a surf. Everything we do here has a lot of trial and error so it’s always very exciting trying new things to see what works. To finance this I import ethnic products from the distant lands of Indonesia, which I sell or use to develop the center. It’s a constantly evolving project with a million and one things to do so I’m open to full motivated people, whatever your skills. Skills can be learned, but motivation not...
You have to understand that this place is not a hostel but a place that we create liveable for each other. This means everybody should be clean and tidy. We’ve got a communal kitchen that’s always good stocked with beautiful regional and organic food (where possible). We take it in turns preparing the community meals and washing up so everyone’s always chipping in. We all eat together for lunch and dinner so if you have any skills in the kitchen we’re always excited to try new dishes from all kinds of cuisines.
I have bicycles and some surf gear if you need too.
So if you are organize, tidy and enjoy to work, please welcome. If not, maybe it is not the right place for you.

Anyway what I hate most in live is to be a boss, so anybody with good organizational skills, would be very very welcome. Carpenters, mechanics, inventors, photographers, programmers, etc. etc. all welcome too

I speak Spanish, English and German fluently so language isn’t a problem. We’re very fortunate and privileged to be so close to the wave at Punta De Lobos but it does mean that the majority of the surrounding infrastructure are other properties with very few shops. If you want to go shopping then you can either cycle into town (20 mins) or take a collectivo for 1000 pesos. There’s lots of great shops in town. We have lots of shortboard surfboards available if you want to surf and we’re good friends with some rental places so you can always hire a board and wetsuit from there through us. We have 3 dogs and 3 cats that you’ll see floating around the place all the time who are all very friendly.
Hablo alemán, inglés y español. Trabajaran con más gente, un lugar muy central, no hay negocios cerca, tienen que ir en bicicleta a comprar, 20 minutos. Tablas de surf a su disposición.
