Namaste🙏,
My name is Yogacharya Raj, but people call me "Guru." I was running a Yoga and Meditation + Ayurveda Retreat in the foothills of the Himalayas, overlooking the beautiful mountains & lake in POKHARA. Due to the Covid pandemic situation, it was closed, and now I'm trying to create a new location again, which is dedicated to Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda & Singing bowl near Kathmandu. Please help me.
Before Covid, I had my beautiful family, but life took an unexpected turn, and I lost it. Now, I am blessed with my precious baby girl, Shakshi, who is 9 years old, and we live together with my mother, Gyanu, who is 73. Despite the challenges, I was striving to rebuild and grow, but nature had other plans. In September 2024, we faced yet another devastating setback—a landslide and flood that shook our lives once more. Yet, amidst the struggles, my determination remains unshaken. I am ready to rebuild, to rise again, and to create a better future for my family. Lets go together!
I need to take care of my beautiful and creative girl, as well as my elderly mother, and planning to create a beautiful location for Yoga, Meditation, Ayurveda, Reiki, & Singing Bowl.
We need volunteers to construct the center, where everyone can share joy of life.
In addition, every day we need help with cooking food for ourselves and gardening to grow vegetables.
We invite you to let your full potential flourish! You are welcome to join our yoga and meditation sessions, and we are open to any creative ideas and input you may have for our home.(Every thing are in construction so plz do not expect more !!!)
Along with this, you can experience yoga, meditation, and Ayurveda. Since it is a traditional Nepali village, you will have the unique opportunity to immerse yourself in Nepali society and experience the rich customs and traditions of the Brahmin community firsthand. Think of it as an open cultural museum—a living, breathing space where you can witness and participate in the daily rituals, festivals, and way of life that have been preserved for generations. This is not just a visit; it’s an authentic cultural exchange that allows you to connect deeply with the heart and soul of Nepal.
Our destination is not a tourist location, so you can fully enjoy the authentic culture and traditions of a Brahmin family as a foreign guest. This will be a completely unique experience.
We have some rabbits to help release stress, and honey bees for honey. you may try bee venom therapy as well.
You can taste seasonal fruits such as oranges, kiwi, guava, sugarcane, bananas, Nepali hog plum, and local varieties of persimmon, plum, and peach from my garden. From the forest, we offer 100% organic fruits like Golden Himalayan raspberry, Berberis aristata, Himalayan ground gooseberry, and fragrant wintergreen in season.
You can have ginger and turmeric are available year-round, beneficial for health.
