  Hola! Somos Ana y Kevin, tenemos 30 y 34 años. Vivimos en la provincia de San Juan en el departamento Pocito a 25 km de la capital.
  Junto a nosotros vive nuestra gata (Pati), 5 perros, 2 ovejas y varias gallinas.
  Tenemos un proyecto de producción de verduras agroecologicas y estamos explorando la prácticas de la biodinámica. También hace poco tiempo comenzamos la crianza de gallinas y producción de huevos caseros.
  Nuestro hogar está dentro de un gran terreno donde hay un cultivo de alfalfa. Tenemos algunos proyectos a futuro como hacer nuevos cultivos en algunos sectores del terrenom, la construcción de un reservorio de riego y la parquización de los espacios de la casa y pileta.

  HI! We are Ana and Kevin, 29 and 33 years old. We live in the province of San Juan, in the Pocito department, 25 km from the capital. Along with us, our cat (Pati), 5 dogs, 2 sheeps and several hens live here.
  We have a project focused on producing agroecological vegetables and are exploring biodynamic practices. Recently, we also started raising chickens and producing homemade eggs. Our home is situated on a large plot of land where we grow alfalfa. We have some future projects, such as establishing new crops in certain areas of the land, building an irrigation reservoir, and landscaping the spaces around the house and pool.

  We live in front of the Sierra Chica de Zonda, which offers spectacular sunsets and trekking opportunities just 10 kilometers from our house. Additionally, 5 km away is "Villa Aberastain," the capital of Pocito. There, you can buy all kinds of kitchen groceries, supplies, and necessary items. It's important to note that there is a public hospital with free care.

  Vivimos frente a la sierra chica de Zonda, que nos ofrece expectaculares atardeceres y posibilidades de trekking a 10 kilomentros de nuestra casa.
  Además, a 5km se encuentra "Villa Aberastain", capital de Pocito. Allí se puede comprar todo tipo de viveres de cocina, insumos y articulos que se necesiten.
  Es importante destacar que hay un hospital público de atención gratuita.
  Para los amantes de la panificación: Tenemos una vecina a pocos metros de nuestra casa que hace los mejores panes y "semitas" (una panificado local muy rico!).

  Arbeit

  Our days start with planning the day's tasks while we have breakfast. Then, we continue with our daily routine of feeding the dogs and chickens and checking their waterers and irrigation of the seedlings.
  Possible tasks include: planting, transplanting, and harvesting vegetables from the garden; weeding; building raised beds; preparing soil and compost; and installing and repairing irrigation systems. Exceptional tasks may also arise, such as repairing chicken coops, maintenance of garden, home and common areas, repairs, etc.

  Los días comienzan con la planificación de las tareas del día mientras desayunamos, luego continuamos con la rutina diaria de alimentar perros y gallinas y controlar los bebederos y riego de almacigos.
  Las tareas posibles son: siembra, trasplante y cosecha de las verduras de la huerta; desmalezado; construcción de bancales, preparación de tierra y abono; instalación y reparación de riegos.
  También suelen presentarse tareas excepcionales como arreglo de gallineros, mantenimiento de jardín, hogar y áreas comunes, reparaciones, etc.

  Unterkunft

  Our house is the only dwelling in the area, will share our home with us. We offer a private double room and have two bathrooms. We have a washing machine available if you want to wash your belongings. Every morning, we will share breakfast and then provide lunch made by us. However, it's possible to share the kitchen and cooking ideas if you're interested.

  Nuestra casa es la única vivienda en el lugar, por lo tanto compartirán nuestro hogar con nosotros, ofrecemos una habitación doble privada, y contamos con dos baños. Tenemos lavarropas si quieren lavar sus pertenencias.
  Cada mañana compartiremos el desayuno y luego ofreceremos un almuerzo hecho por nosotros. Sin embargo, es posible compartir la cocina e ideas de comida si les interesa.

  As for our interests, we enjoy listening to music. We are very keen on always learning more about agroecology and improving cultivation practices. We like to read and share conversations while enjoying some mate (argentinian hot drink). We are excited to host travelers from other parts of the world, learn about their stories and experiences, and pick up new languages. While we don’t consider ourselves experts, we really enjoy cooking and learning new recipes.

  En cuanto a nuestros intereses podemos contarles que nos gusta mucho escuchar música. Tenemos un gran interés por aprender siempre algo más sobre la agroecología y el mejoramiento de las prácticas de cultivo. Nos gusta leer y compartir charlas tomando unos mates. Nos emociona recibir viajeros de otras partes del mundo, conocer sus historias, experiencias y poder aprender nuevos idiomas.
  Si bien no nos consideramos expertos, nos gusta mucho cocinar y aprender nuevas recetas.
