  Hi everyone,
  I’m Marlon, 35 years old, originally from Barranquilla, Colombia, and I’ve been living in Mexico for six years.
  In 2018, I traveled through India and Vietnam to explore their incredible cuisine. A year later, I opened my own small Asian restaurant in the beautiful town of Puerto Escondido.
  I’m an active person who loves free diving, boxing, and salsa dancing – feel free to join me anytime!
  As a chef, I’m passionate about great food, so there will always be something delicious for you to try.
  I’ve volunteered in many different projects, met amazing people, and now I’d like to offer this opportunity to someone else.
  It’s important that you speak at least basic Spanish to communicate effectively, as I only speak very little English.

  En 2018 viajé por India y Vietnam para conocer su gastronomía. Un año después abrí mi pequeño restaurante asiático en el hermoso Puerto Escondido.
  Soy una persona muy activa: practico apnea, boxeo y baile de salsa. ¡Estás más que invitado a unirte!
  Como chef, me apasiona la buena comida, así que siempre habrá algo delicioso para probar.
  He trabajado como voluntario en muchos proyectos diferentes, conocí a personas increíbles y ahora quiero ofrecerle esta oportunidad a alguien. Es importante que hables un inglés básico, ya que será necesario para comunicarte con los clientes.

  Arbeit

  I’m looking for proactive, independent individuals to help with daily tasks around the house, caring for my cats and maintaining the garden. Being a cat lover is essential since I share my home with seven wonderful cats.
  
  I can host a couple or two friends, preferably for a longer stay (over one month). There's dinner provided on work days.

  Unterkunft

  The volunteers will have their own floor available: One big private room, equipped with a king size bed, a ceiling fan and some furnitures. There is also a private bathroom. On the floor, there is a huge terrace to practice yoga or other activities.
  Our kitchen is very spacious and well equipped with everything you need.

  Los voluntarios tendrán su propio piso: una amplia habitación privada con cama king size, ventilador de techo y algunos muebles. También hay baño privado. En este piso, hay una enorme terraza para practicar yoga u otras actividades.
  
  Nuestra cocina es muy espaciosa y está bien equipada con todo lo necesario.

  On your days off you can enjoy the beaches that are located in the regional area such as Chacahua, Mazunte and Zipolite. Busses are cheap and can get you almost anywhere you want to go. You can rent a scooter for 300 -400 Pesos per day/ 4000 per month.
  We are also close to the mountains of San Jose del Pacífico.
  You can join turtle releases, swim in rivers, visit waterfalls, go see bioluminescence, do yoga, temazcal and of course go surfing.

  En tus días libres, puedes disfrutar de las playas de la zona, como Chacahua, Mazunte y Zipolite. Los autobuses son económicos y te llevan a casi cualquier lugar. Puedes alquilar una motoneta por entre 300 y 400 pesos al día o 4000 pesos al mes.
  También estamos cerca de las montañas de San José del Pacífico.
  Puedes unirte a liberaciones de tortugas, nadar en ríos, visitar cascadas, observar la bioluminiscencia, hacer yoga, temazcal y, por supuesto, surfear.
