  Hello There!
  
  Looking for help mid to late July, August and into the fall! Preference for longer stays at this time.
  
  We are Steven and Andrea, a couple in our late 30's, at home in beautiful McBride, British Columbia. Our family consists of 5 dogs, 4 cats and 3 horses!
  
  We are on the edge of town so easy walking distance to town and stores (but there arent many). The views are picture perfect, with the beautiful Rocky Mountains and Cariboo Mountains. There are a lot of trails and outdoor activities available. There is no night life, so if it's a party you seek, we do not recommend this sleepy and friendly little town.
  
  We are looking for someone to mainly look after our animals, as we are frequently out of town for work. Animal chores take no more then 2 hours per day and included feeding and walking the dogs, brushing the dogs occasionally, feeding horses and playing butler to the cats when the want in, out, in and probably out... again. Depending on horse experience, walking or possibly riding the horses for experienced riders may be an option. Some poop scooping is required.
  
  If you are a trades person or are willing to learn, and engaged, there is an opportunity to work with Steven as part his handyman company and gain or expand on some useful skills.

  You need to be self sufficient, and able to take care of yourself when we are gone for up to 10 days at a time. This would also work well if you work remotely!
  
  McBride is nestled between the Rocky Mountains and Cariboo Mountains, approximately 170km from Jasper Alberta and two hours southeast of Prince George BC.
  
  I am fluent in German and Steven can understand a lot, but is shy about speaking it. We both appreciate good food, home cooked meals and are more then happy to share the kitchen. Regular meals, that include meat and vegetables are served. If you are lactose free, gluten free and/ or egg free we can accommodate you. At this time we can NOT accommodate vegetarian or vegan diets.
  
  Your accommodations will be in the home with us, you have a private bedroom and a shared bathroom. We have Wifi set up (with a monthly data limit), but dont have TV other then Netflix/Prime.
  
  We DO NOT permit the consumption of ANY cannabis products or ANY illegal drugs anywhere on the property and are not comfortable with people under the influence. Outdoor smoking is fine as we are both smokers. If you enjoy a beer or beverage on occasion that is not a problem, as long as you don't get drunk and damage things.
  
  You MUST have travel insurance to stay with us. This is a rural live and sometimes an adventure can be a misadventure.
  
  You MUST have a work visa to stay with us.
  
  At this time we can NOT accommodate travelers with pets, as we already have a house full of love and pawprints.

  3 horses

  Belle: 20 year old mare of unkown breeding. She is a great riding horse, but only for experienced riders as she takes advantage of inexperience.
  Havana: 3 year old Fjord mare, complete puppy dog personality, loves food more then life itself. She is not yet started under saddle, but does join on trail rides while being ponied.
  Blaze: 20 year old Quarter Horse mare. Blaze came to us in June after her owner passed away. She is still getting settled in, but is a very gentle horse who loves attention and being brushed.

  

  4 cats

  Our 4 cats range from 1 extra lovey, 2 that like pets when on their terms, and 1 cat that doesnt like pets at all.

  

  Our gang of 5 dogs

  The dogs range in age from 8 to 13, and from high to low energy. All of them love walks, and couch cuddles.
