I spent a week with Chapour and Aline. Both were very friendly and open and Chapour picked me up directly at the train station in Fontainebleau to save me a transfer with my luggage. It was a relaxed stay with them with easy work. I always cooked at lunchtime and helped around the house for about three hours (laundry, tidying up, gardening). I had
… read more a lot of free time in the afternoons, for example to go for a walk. One day I went on a nice trip to Fontainebleau with Aline (there is a very beautiful castle there). On my day off, I went to Paris. Thanks to the good connections, I had plenty of time to explore the city. Thank you for this week with you and the good conversations!

The highlight was of course the location. Fontainebleau is a beautiful area and I highly suggest walking to the Seine river (20 mins) or the forest itself (45 mins). Such a peaceful part of the France with direct access to Paris on the train (70 mins).
