Looking for helping hands on our hobby farm!
The farm is 11 km from Midland and 15 km from the Perth airport. Ellenbrook is the nearest railway station to us. The Perth metropolitan region has a metro bus service #310 to get here from Midland or Ellenbrook.
We're a small, friendly hobby farm located in the Swan Valley, seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help with general maintenance and gardening. Enjoy the peace and quiet of country life while contributing to our self-sufficient lifestyle.
We offer a comfortable private room for couples, and the opportunity to experience the beauty of the Swan Valley.

I welcome mature volunteers touring Western Australia to our farm for a cultural exchange.
The house has a large private room, with a private entrance, for two people, with a comfortable, clean double bed.
I prefer (NON-smoking) guests wishing to experience organic life. There are many different chores to do. Most chores are general maintenance, like house cleaning and garden maintenance. Preparing cooked meals for everyone while enjoying organic wine is highly recommended!
There are chickens and some other very tame pets that all like attention.

I have many years of experience in shared accommodation, viticulture, winemaking, distilling, mechanical maintenance, gardening, tourism and environmental matters.

The help is varied and never monotonous. Sometimes there are simple chores and other times complicated help with guidance.
Some examples of fun and worthwhile exchanges are creating eco gardens, pet sitting, house sitting, shopping, helping to construct chicken house, sharing in cooking, giving a hand with general maintenance, teaching and practising languages and the list is endless.

There is always something new to learn and the place itself is amazing.
