Helping hand at home in the beautiful historical lovely city of Bordeaux, France

  Beschreibung

  We are a small family living in the center of Bordeaux in a nice big house with garden and pool. We share it with students during the year and bnb hosts in the summer season. I have 2 sons but only one (19) lives at home, the other (27) is currently working in Sweden. We love to meet new people from other countries.
  
  A helping hand with the animals, or in the garden or in the house is more than welcome from time to time and especially jsut before summer when there is work to do to prepare the garden and the rooms.
  My youngest son is still searching his lifepath so any friendly company and activity proposal to get him out of his room and screen is welcome :-) he speaks french and is willing to share his knowledge, his english is not so bad ...for a french guy. He likes cooking, travelling with us, cinema, animals.

  1 week or 2 weeks stay is nice, can be shorter we are flexible. as some students ask, I may have sometimes rooms to rent if you want to stay longer for example. Just ask and we'll see, I'm flexible.
  
  ATTENTION : We have 2 cats, a dog (living mostly in Paris with my partner), and 4 hens in the garden. So the house is not suitable to allergic people.

  We will be happy to share relaxing moments, give you some basis in french or french cuisine and wine tasting. We can maybe show you the city and the area (St-Emilion, Ocean beaches, Dune du Pilat).

  Arbeit

  When I'm home a helping hand in the garden, eventually some wall paintings and fixing little stuff at home, general help in the house more than welcome. When I'm not home, watering plants, feeding cats and clearing the cat litters . I'm dynamic until "speed" as we say in good french, so people who hang around asking what they should do may find it a bit rough sometimes :-) People who are willing to really help and can see where help is needed and can propose it are warmly welcome. And I promise I can chill when everything is done or when friends are around. I also really enjoy showing the cities and sharing french !

  Unterkunft

  individual room with individual bed, shared kitchen, bathroom and toilets. The house is very well situated in the city center but quiet area, tramway is 6 minutes walking, buses also and we have a station of public shared bikes 2 minutes walking. All shops around and city core about 15 minutes walking. It is called bordeaux centre, quartier st-seurin fondaudège. We try to eat mostly organic (but are able to order a pizza sometimes) and will be happy to cook or let you cook if you feel like to. I'm quite maniac to find my stuff at the right place after somebody else cooked but this is it I think :-D

  Was noch ...

  I'm working at home and have pretty many things to do so I'm not always available but welcoming foreign people is one thing we love to do. I speak spanish, german, english, some bits of portuguese and italian if had good italian wine before... I expect you to be respectful to my family and friends. You will be quite independant and I will do my best to help you visiting and discovering the area... Please ensure that you have no pets allergy :-)
