  Join us for the 2025 edition of a Marathon/race we organize on an Island in the Land of a Thousand Rhythms!
  
  We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help organize the event before, during, and after the race. You'll assist in various tasks such as attending to runners in English and/or Spanish, assigning, giving, and distributing race kits, supporting exhibitors at stands, assisting with race logistics, recording race times, providing water to athletes, collecting water bags and garbage, organizing the public to ensure the race path is clear, managing lockers and participants' belongings, awarding medals to finishers, and helping with timing at turn points. These are examples. The official tasks/duties will be defined by the Director.
  
  
  Volunteers should be able to help in high temperatures. Each candidate must cover their travel expenses from their home country to the city and from the city to the island. Ideally, candidates are aged between 25 to 33 years, with at least A2 level of Spanish and C1-C2 level of English. No smoking or alcohol is allowed. Knowledge of other languages is a plus, and practicing Christians are preferred. There is also the option to earn a commission by selling race tickets to people in your home country and securing international sponsors, after being accepted.

I volontari devono essere in grado di lavorare a temperature elevate. Ogni candidato deve coprire le proprie spese di viaggio dal proprio paese d'origine alla città e dalla città all'isola. Ideelt sett er kandidatene mellom 25 og 33 år gamle, med minst A2-nivå i spansk og C1-C2-nivå i engelsk. Røyking og alkoholinntak er ikke tillatt. Kunnskap om andre språk er et pluss, og praktiserende kristne foretrekkes.   Nous recherchons des bénévoles enthousiastes pour aider à organiser l'événement avant, pendant et après la course.   During the volunteering experience, you'll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Colombian culture and improve your language skills by interacting with locals. You might participate in social activities with our team and others, get a taste of local cuisine, receive tips on the country's customer service customs and expectations, and learn about the organization of sports events. You'll also have the chance to enjoy the beach after the event and live a unique experience in a country without seasons, learning and sharing in a diverse and welcoming environment.

  8 hours, day 1, 10 hours day 2, 7 hours day 3 (the helping hours of the shifts will depend and this is just an example).

  In the city you might live with a host family, you might have a private bedroom. This will depend on the final agreement.
  
  We expect that the volunteer arrives at 3pm in day 0, so that is our "check-in hour" and we expect for her/him to travel to the island the next day maximum at 9am.

  At the Island: During your time off, you can go to the beach, go scuba-diving, walking around the island, visit tourist attractions. At your own expense
  At the city: You can visit the many parks we have close to the neighbourhood, go to downtown, visit a church on a mountain and watch the city, etc. At your own expense.
