  Hi, I’m Ben. lovely to meet you!
  
  I’m a well-travelled and easy-going guy who’s been lucky enough to experience Workaway from both sides – as a volunteer and a host. I have also hosted through another travel site while living in beautiful Aotearoa (New Zealand). My background is in filmmaking and media production, and these days I work in media and communications.
  
  At the moment, I’m looking for a friendly individual or couple to give me a hand with some light gardening. I live on a lovely property with an established garden that just needs a bit of time to get it looking its best again. I’m currently replanting flower beds and tidying up the landscaping, so if you’ve got a green thumb (or even just a willingness to help), that’s perfect!
  
  Ravenshoe is a stunning part of the world with heaps to explore, and I’m always happy to share tips on what to see and do nearby. In exchange for around 4 hours of help a day, five days a week, I offer a comfy private room with a double bed and all meals included.
  
  Also, the reviews I have here are from when I was hosting on a previous property.

  I am a professional media producer, so if you're interested to learn, I can show you different areas of media production (filming, photography, video and stills editing, audio recording and editing).
  
  I also do a lot of fermentation with food and beverages (pickles, sauerkraut, bread, hot sauces, beer) and I make gin. If you're interested in learning, I would be happy to show what I do.

  What I need help with is setting up gardens - establishing gardenbeds, weeding, and mowing.
  
  If you have building or gardening skills, then that is perfect. But it is also fine if you are willing to try and learn.
  
  Ideally I would like workawayers who can work independently. Although we can work together on some of the projects.

  You will have your own private room and double bed.
  
  I have previously worked as a chef, so happy to cook delicious meals. I can cater for vegetarians and vegans if needed.

  The area is full of beautiful rainforests and waterfalls, so if you're interested in hiking then it is perfect. It is also close (2hrs) to cairns, so you can have a night out or go diving on the reef.
