EN FRANCAIS EN DESSOUS
We're a few people living in a collective way in the Pyrenees mountains (south of france near mediterannée sea), a place isolated from road and town. Wa are a non-profit "Association loi 1901" and our main goal is to restore the potential of this old little hamlet to allow people to live there. We do this by traditional methods , doing everything by ourselves, with the help of friends and volunteers.
We run different projects: organic gardening, raising animals (chickens, donkeys, horses), rebuilding ruins with old methods, making our own power and living together positively.
We (Tristan, Maude and Elisa 19months) are a family living here for some time and rebuidling a ruin to make it our own house. We are looking for people interested in learning about self-sufficient living, whether it be for food, construction, energy, etc.We will be happy to give them food, housing, activities happening around in the valley, trekking and exchanging knowledge.
We would be happy to host family like us to share some quality moment and spent some private family time as well. In this matter, we can also host couple or autonomous duos of friends.
Hosting workawayers is for us a good opportunity to meet new people and discover cultures and personnalities

Nous sommes un petit collectif vivant dans un hameau isolé des Pyrénées Orientales. Nous sommes une association loi 1901 dont le principal objectif est de rénover le potentiel du vieux hameaux montagnard et de le rendre à nouveau vivant. Nous le faisons par des méthodes traditionnelles, en faisant tout nous-mêmes, avec l’aide d’amis et de bénévoles.
Nous avons différents projets : potager et vergers biologiques, élevage (poules, ânes et chevaux), renovation de ruine avec des méthodes ancestrales, production autonome d'énergie et la vie en collectif.
Nous (Tristan, Maude et Elisa) sommes une famille qui habite ici depuis quelques temps et nous remontons une des ruines pour en faire notre maison. Nous recherchons des personnes interessées d'apprendre un mode de vie autonome, que ce soit pour la nourriture, la construction, l'énergie etc. Nous serons heureux de partager le gite, le couvert et des bons moments et activités ayant lieu dans la vallée.
Nous aimerions accueillir une famille comme nous pour partager des bons moments ensembles mais aussi profiter de moments privés en famille . Dans cette logique, nous accepterions également des couples ou duos d'amis autonome.
Accueillir des workaways est une bonne opportunité pour nous de rencontrer de nouvelle personne et de découvrir d'autres cultures et personnalités.

We will be happy to show our collective way of living close to nature. Autonomous in power and making most of our food. We generally try to do everything by ourself and with local material.
We are multi lingual and happy to learn some more.
Nous montrerons avec plaisir notre façon de vivre, collective et proche de la nature. Nous sommes autonome en électricité et produisons une bonne partie de notre nourriture. Nous essayons de faire un maximum de choses nous même, avec des matériaux locaux.
Nous parlons plusieurs langues et serions contents d'en apprendre d'autres!

EN FRANCAIS EN DESSOUS
We are looking for people interested in helping with maintaining the hamlet (clearing paths and vegetation, cleaning chicken's house,...) gardenning and making preserves, and with rebuilding the hamlet with ancient methods (few electrical devise, local material). This is quite physical help that needs fitness but most of all enthousiasm and motivation. Please note that with hot weather, work might start early in the morning.
It is also expected that workawayers will help for common usual tasks (cooking, cleaning common spaces, ...)
People can reach us by foot, hitchiking or with their own vehicle.
Being a joung family, we need private family time. In this matter, we would be happy to host family like us to share some quality moment together and spent some private family time as well. In this matter, we can also host couple or autonomous duos of friends.
We are looking for people who would stay for two weeks or more, with one week trial (not negotiable). We may see together for a longer stay. We would ask for 5 hours a day, 4 days a week.

Nous recherchons des personnes intéressées pour nous aider à l'entretien général du hameau (débroussaillage, entretien des chemins, nettoyage du poulallier ...), au potager et pour faire des conserves ainsi que pour apprendre à la reconstruction du hameau avec des méthodes traditionnelles (peu de matériel électrique, matériaux locaux (pierres, terres, bois de la forêt).
C'est un travail assez physique qui demande d'être en forme mais surtout d'être enthousiaste et motivé! Attention, par temps chaud, le travail commencera tôt le matin.
Nous demandons également aux workaways d'aider aux tâches communes d'entretien (cuisine, entretien des espaces communs, etc)
Le hameau est accessible à pied, en stop ou avec un véhicule
Comme nous sommes une jeune famille (Elisa a 18mois) nous avons besoin de temps privés en famille. Nous aimerions donc accueillir une famille ou un couple/duo d'amis autonome pour pouvoir partager des moments ensemble mais aussi profiter de moments en famille.
Nous recherchons des gens qui pourraient rester deux semaines ou plus, avec une semaine d'essai (non négociable). Nous demandons 4 jours de travail par semaine, 5 heures par jour.

Helpers will be accomodated in a commune house with all commodities (kitchen, shower, washing machine, electricity, wifi, etc.) and a dry toilet outside

We are located at the foot of the Canigou wich is a beautifull mountain with lots of trekking possibilities. The mediteranean sea is also nearby. In the village down the valley is a associative cafe with events happening from times to times.
Please note that this is a natural place remote from roads and facilities (the nearest shop is one hour away by car).

Nous sommes situés sous le mont Canigou qui est une très belle montagne avec beaucoup de possibilité de randonnées. La mer méditerrannée est aussi pas loin. Dans le village en bas dans la vallée, il y a un café associatif avec pas mal d'évennement.
Attention, le hameau est isolé des routes et des magasins (le magasin le plus proche est à 45 minutes de route)
