Tätigkeiten, die mich interessieren:

At the moment, I am especially interested in mindfulness and personal growth, e.g. through yoga or meditation. I also love books, movies, dancing, singing and making music together.

Beschreibung

I am interested in making a meaningful contribution to a mindful, holistic community or to an impactful social/environmental cause. Specifically, I would love to do physical work where I can see actual results, instead of doing desk work or analyzing problems in my head for hours. I feel like I've spent most of my life in my head and in books, so now I am very eager and willing to learn more about practical skills!

I have already volunteered in a couple of communities in early 2025, where I've helped with cooking and cleaning - these were amazing experiences! I've met wonderful people and laughed and learned a lot, so I would love to have more of these experiences in the future!

In my free time, I love meeting up with my friends, going to swing dance socials, doing yoga, making music, or just reading a book whilst having some coffee or tea.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am a very thorough, organized and reliable person. I'd like to think that I can think creatively, listen empathetically, find solutions and work independently as well as in a team. I am generally a very social person (though I do need space for myself as well) and can adjust easily to a new environment. I am convinced that each person you meet has something valuable to share with you!

I also love languages! I speak English fluently, Dutch on an advanced level and know beginner/intermediate Spanish. I am also fluent in German (my first language).

Overall, I am a very curious person and eager to learn new skills, especially practical ones!

Was noch ...

I am currently unsure of what my next steps in life are going to be, so I hope that my workaway experience will help me gain more clarity by seeing more of the world and of course through inspiring interactions with other travellers and hosts, enabling me to learn more about the world and my place in it. I am really looking forward to making a meaningful contribution and seeing where this journey will take me!
