I thrive on experiencing new things and challenging myself. Outdoor activities are my favorite, as they allow me to push my limits while immersing myself in beautiful surroundings. I approach every new experience with enthusiasm and a positive mindset, always eager to learn and grow.

Having grown up in Denmark, I’ve been fortunate to enjoy the comfort and familiarity of a close-knit community, where all of my extended family lives within a 20 minute drive. This upbringing has given me a strong sense of belonging and a deep respect for collaboration, support, and shared experiences. I hope to bring this mindset to new environments and form meaningful connections with those I meet.

Living in a small, cohesive country has also sparked my curiosity about the broader world. I see cultural differences as exciting opportunities to challenge my perspectives and learn from others, and I’m eager to embrace the unique experiences that come with travel.

Living in a rural area has allowed me to develop a wide range of practical skills, often introduced to me by my family. I have hands-on experience with:

• Operating farming equipment.
• Gardening, including tasks beyond basic lawn care, such as planting, pruning, and garden design.
• Laying outdoor tiles and contributing to small landscaping projects.
• Performing maintenance on traditional half-timbered buildings, focusing on preserving their structural integrity and charm.
• Preparing home-cooked meals. I prefer slow cooked.
• Wild game butchering.
• Practicing firearm safety and handling.

• Danish sailing competence certificate.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Experience life in a scenic ...)

I stayed with Jeremy and Erle at their beautiful countryside retreat for five weeks during early spring, and it became my longest Workaway stay so far. Yet the time just flew by.

Their place is like an oasis, peacefully tucked away next to the Vorma River.

I stayed at Jean Fançois’ place for just about two weeks and could easily have stayed there for the rest of my trip. Vom Workawayer () für Host (Join a welcoming family and ...)

I stayed with Inti, Amber and their sweet kids for a week. Work was fair, fun and varied. Food was amazing and the accommodation better than what money can buy. Living in "The Little House" gave the freedom to ballance privat and social time. The kids is a delight making them a nannies dream job.
The ideal family to be hosted by in Northland.

August was a pleasure to host! He worked diligently and was positive about all tasks given to him. He was respectful and tidy in our accomodation. We really enjoyed hosting him, it was a shame he couldn't stay longer. We would recommend hosting August to any Work-away hosts.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Learn as you help with ...)

I spend 2 weeks at Craig and Rachels place. This was my first stop in New Zealand and the perfect start on my trip. Work was varied, fun and a great opportinity to learn new techniques and skills. They are the type of host that makes you feel that you owe them more than they owe you. Would highly recommend.
