Hi! I’m Cami :)

Uruguayan/American (with Italian passport), and I’ve been traveling around Europe since March. My journey continues indefinitely, and I’m eager to gain experience, meeting new people, and volunteer along the way.

July: Aosta and Milano in Italy
September: Korenica in Croatia

Seeking: a volunteering placement from 27 July to 9 August, and again during October.

A little about me: I’m the oldest of four sisters, deeply family‑oriented. I adore animals—my 9‑year‑old cat Asia and special‑needs dog Bono are my babies, and I look forward to any opportunity to care for animals wherever I go.

I hold a degree in International Business, and while I previously trained and competed in CrossFit for eight years, these days I stay active—training through running or calisthenics 3–4 days a week, plus hiking and exploring new places on foot. I love nature and sports, and I’m determined to learn how to snowboard during this trip!

I’m especially drawn to being around water—whether by the beach, mountain lakes, or rivers—though I’m open to any kind of volunteer experience. 😊

I’m excited to connect with people, share experiences, and contribute to communities through meaningful volunteering.

My mother runs one of the largest non profit cat rescue in Uruguay, @catitos.uy. Through our home shelter we have rescued thousands of animals, mostly cats, dogs, rabbits, opossums, chickens and roosters, etc. As any shelter, it is like a hospital, we take care of injured and malnourished animals, we receive abused animals directly from governments entities and care for them until we find a home.
