Since we are working on building our own home in the countryside we are trying to learn from others first! We are very much interested in farming and gardening, experiencing life off the grid!
Beschreibung
Hello! This is Denise (33 formerly working for a human rights NGO, now outdoor teacher), Markus (36 working as an architect) with our little son Florian (2,5 year old). We are living in Vienna, Austria, and love spending our free time in nature, hiking, climbing and sleeping in a little mountain hut off the grid on the weekends. Our goal is to build a sustainable community farm in Europe with friends where we can live together raise our children in an environment-friendly surrounding. Hence we joined workaway to find inspiration and learn from other families and communities who are already some steps further as well as offer our knowledge to help build other peoples dreams ❤️
Since Denise worked in journalism and communications for the past years she can offer a lot of help with writing, photography, social media, PR and web design. She just finished her education becoming an outdoor teacher and loves spending time with kids as well as adults in nature. Markus has skills in carpentry as well as construction (also planning houses since he is an architect 😉). We are happy to share our skills!

Was könntest du arbeiten?
Denise has a MA degree in political science and journalism and is working in public relations for years now - currently for a human rights NGO in Vienna. She has a passion for cooking (vegan/vegetarian) as well as gardening (mainly fruit and veggies).
Markus is an architect and has an education background in cabinetwork. Since he renovated our apartment he earned more field praxis. We regularly stay at a collective mountain hut where we do general maintenance work, wood work and take care of hikers who come by.

We love to go hiking in Austria. When we travel, we look for quiet surf spots. At home we love to play (co-operative) board games.
