Hi!

I'll be wondering around and volunteering for a while, first stop will be Bolivia from 22/10 to 05/12. I have no specific plans yet but, among other things, I'd like to climb the Andes, get lost in the cities and spend some time in the Amazon rainforest. Please hit me up if you are around!

I was born close to Rome, in Italy, but I moved to the Netherlands 6 years ago to study and work in the field of innovation management and tech. I believe that, when used properly and intentionally, technology has the potential to help people and create more equality around the world.

My nature as a person is very bubbly, positive, energetic and warm. I am a tiny girl, yet I also have a very determined personality and I like to keep my body fit so that I can be independent. I am quite extroverted and I love to connect to people to a deeper level whenever it feels comfortable. I love to dance, cook and read. My forte is Italian food (quite obviously) but my favourite thing is to experiment with cousine from countries around the world. I am usually down for pretty much anything and I enjoy some adrenaline rush once in a while!

I've always tried to cut some time out, between my studies and work, to volunteer abroad as I feel that is the best way to really get to know people and culture. To me, travelling is not only about seeing places; the most beautiful and valuable aspect is forming a real, honest exchange with the people you meet. Also, I see volunteering as a great way to give back to the people and place that you are visiting. For example, I was volunteering for a sustainable kitchen in the Netherlands and I spent 2 months in Indonesia helping local communities with environmentally-friendly initiatives.

I'd be happy to meet fellow travellers and share parts of the trip :)

My native language is Italian but my life (friends, work, studies) has been in English for the last 6 years, so my English is by now almost better than my Italian! I used to study Spanish in middle school and I am now picking it up again. I would be open to language exchanges or to teach Italian/English to locals :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Here is a sneakpeak into my skills:
- Innovation and tech, I have a background in tech management and I like coming up with new ideas, so I can help come up and bring live any initiative related to that
- Cooking, it is one of my love languages, I enjoy cooking for people and experimenting with flavours
- Construction/gardening, one of the things I'd like to do during my trip is outdoors activities involving more manual work. No worries, I can handle it, I am stronger that I look ;)
- Community/people, anything with a social aspect is definitely something I cal help with as I am a natural extrovert and I can easily create connections with those aroud me

Generally speaking, my biggest strenght is that I am very reliable, solution-oriented, creative and resourceful. So, whatever you have in mind or need, I would love to discuss it with you! I always like a good challenge and I am sure we can find a way to help each other.

Was noch ...

I love exepressing myself with music and dancing, so I would love to learn some typical dance moves and I usually have a fun dance night with my hosts when I am visiting a place!
