Hello and welcome to our profile!

We are Emely (25) and Hanno (26) from Germany. We are currently travelling beautiful New Zealand and just reached the Bay of Plenty. After working on a Kiwi and Avocado Orchard in Northland for over a month, we are now looking for a workaway experience in this part of NZ. We are communicative and easy going people, fast learners and ready to help with whatever needs helping. In Germany we were studying to become teachers (Hanno: English and Healthcare, Emely: German Language and Special Education) and thus have some experience in working with children already.

Emely: I grew up on a Farm and love helping with gardening and would love to make some experiences in working with animals as well. In my free time I do Yoga and try to take in as much of the surrounding nature as possible. I already got some experience with Workaway in Spain while helping on a permaculture Land. I did lot's of travel so far and would love to stay close to local people and learn about NZ culture while helping with whatever work has to be done.
(I am a vegetarien and hope that won't be an issue)

Hanno: Originally I am a physiotherapist and have worked as such for a couple of years. My long term plan has always been becoming a teacher though and thus I just graduated with the Bachelors Degree in English language and health care, simultaniously with Emely in her subjects. After returning to Germany we will continue with the Masters Programm, as that is necessary in Germany to become a teacher. For now I am excited to make lots of different experiences in NZ, be that farm work, houshold duties or assisting an elderly person in daily needs. In my spare time I like to keep myself fit, take trips around the country, read and listen to music.

If you are interested in taking in a couple of German Backpackers, don't hesitate to text or call, we will answer any remaining questions. We are travelling by van, so you won't have to worry about our mobility.

Was noch ...

Both of us are very interested in culture and history as well as having good conversations and a cup of tea. Hanno is into sports, music and fitness while I love to spend time in nature, crocheting and improving my yoga skills.
