Hi!

About me:

I am 28 years old and have spent the years following highschool pursing a bachelors of science, masters in anatomy and cell biology, and most recently a bachelors of nursing. During summers and gap years I have solo travelled Asia and Europe, and also worked as a forest firefighter in Northern Ontario, Canada.

Before I begin working as a nurse I want to dig my hands into the earth and spend some time getting to know a new culture, lifestyle (farming/offgrid) and work with animals. I have fostered cats over the past year, and have taken care of many peoples dogs. I don't have much experience with other farm animals but I am SO keen to learn.

I also would love to learn how to surf!

I love poetry, dancing, adventure, listening to music, spending time in nature, spending time with animals, engaging in deep and challenging conversations, food (although I am not a talented cook), and science.

Outdoor Skills: Through working as a forest fighter I gained a ton of grit, a hard work ethic, and can operate a chain saw

Teaching Experience:

-mentoring people in emergency medical response and first aid
-teaching cadaveric anatomy
-tutoring English to new Canadian immigrants
-Swim Instructor and lifeguard experience
