Hi,
My name is Julia, I am 21 years old and I am a Hungarian university student.
I am here on this site because I want to explore the world. I was always interested in different cultures and habits, the everyday life of people living in other countries. I hope that this site will give me the opportunity to find my community and try myself in many areas of life, providing mutual help to my hosts. I am looking forward to working together and get some culture exchange.

A few things about myself:
I am an artsy person, I have tried myself in several different artistic fields, as a hobby I sew and make jewellery. In my whole life I have always crafted something, therefore I can handle any task that requires dexterity.
My other passion is animals, currently I have a dog and a cat (Lizi and Sofia), but in the past I have tried keeping ducks. My dream is to have a petting zoo, where I can keep all kinds of friendly animals that bring joy to me and the visitors’ life.
Besides that I like hiking and enjoy the beauties of nature. I am also trying to learn some cooking, so if I come to help you and there is an opportunity to cook together, I will gladly show you some traditional Hungarian dishes.

I walk around the world open-minded, ready to learn something new from every experience.

University student: I am currently a second-year university student, majoring in commerce and marketing

Animal shelter: throughout my last summer I helped out at the local animal shelter that specialized in injured cats. My tasks were feeding and taking care of the animals and keeping the place tidy.

Dexterity: I help my family and friends with many kinds of meticulous and patient required housework. I can tailor and sew pants or clothes, or repair a torn jewelry, or just fix something that requires my knowledge in arts and crafts

Physical work: I have worked with my family on some house renovation projects. I have done painting, plastering and gardening.

Bartender: besides uni, sometimes I work as a bartender, here my task is to mix cocktails and drinks, but also to communicate and entertain people. This job helped me a lot develop my social skills.
