Beschreibung

Hello! We are Katie and Isaac, an adventurous couple from Newquay, a surf town in the UK. We have been travelling for just over two years and have enjoyed doing workaways in local communities along the way.

Whilst In Hawaii we helped with gardening, landscaping, planting cleaning, house sitting, dog sitting, vehicle maintenance. We then went on to do a wine harvest on the island of Waiheke in New Zealand. Before leaving New Zealand we helped set up a self sustainable garden project in Raglan.

We had a wonderful time in Australia with our now dear friend Nick helping him on his renovation projects, painting and decorating, landscaping, gardening, pet sitting.

We are outdoorsy people, enjoy being in nature and living life simply but to the fullest. We love Workaway and immersing our selves in a local community, meeting new people and helping others.

- We have experience looking after pets/animals
- We enjoy working outdoors, doing gardening, DIY.
- Katie set up and ran her own silver jewellery business for 2 years before travelling
- We both have managerial experience in hospitality
- Isaac is has skills in Adobe Premiere Pro & Photoshop (and has access on his device)
- We have both worked and fundraised for charities in the past
- We have experience in digital marketing and social media.
- We participated in 2023 vineyard harvest in New Zealand
- We enjoy cooking and love trying new dishes
- We are open minded and are happy to try any type of roles you may have

Was noch ...

We are open minded and up for anything! We love dancing and having a good time, listening to music and sharing stories. Our favourite genres of music are disco, soul, funk, reggae, but we do listen everything else also!

Isaac has been skateboarding for over 15 years and is happy to teach you how to skateboard. He has also been surfing for a couple years and looking to improve his skills whilst travelling. He used to play guitar regularly, but now not so often, but still considers himself musical and would be happy to teach you the basics on guitar.

Katie has a love for food a drink and has a keen interest in wine, with a distinction in WSET. She is open minded and is very much up for learning new skills, especially anything outdoors/gardening.
