Hey!
We are Lenaël and Erick curently traveling all around Asia for 1 year, we are passionate about nature, and want to live a sustainable life and build our house ourselves when we go back home. We want to know more about permaculture, farming, gardening, building, handcrafting, taking care of animals...

Was könntest du arbeiten?

For me Lenaël, I grew up in the countryside surrounded by fields and forests. At my parent's house, I loved helping my father in the vegetable garden, the greenhouse, the orchard... to turn the soil, sow, pick fruits and vegetables, make jam... and take care of the animals: sheep, rabbits, chickens and a pony with whom I spent a lot of time: walking her, training her, cleaning her hooves, brushing her... My parents renovated an old Breton stone house, this allowed me to learn a little while doing.

I'm an Occupational Therapist. I work with people with disabilities to promote their independence and autonomy in daily life. In the future, I would like to offer support that would take place outside, relying on nature based practice.

As for me, Erick, since I'm a young boy I helped my father with DIY, mostly woodworking, also took care of our hens, and gardening.8 years ago we started renovating anold farm with my parents and I helped them with it. Even driving the old tractor they use for mowing the field. I also took 4 years of horse riding lessons.

I'm an adapted physical activity teacher for people with disabilities, and specifically working with children with intellectual deficiency, lately. I want to help them reaching happiness, good health , lower their difficultied and be self confident all at the same time with my practice.

Was noch ...

Lenaël : I love hiking, being in nature, gardening, dancing (traditional Breton danse, classical...), swimming in lake/sea..., climbing, reading, meeting people, learning about different cultures and way of living. I really enjoy manual and craft activities. I start watercolor during this trip 🖌

Erick: Climbing, Hiking and swimming are among my favorite activities. I love being in nature, observing. I'm eager to learn, about anything, especially sciences and history, and teaching about what I've learnt before. Exchanging point of view about the way of seeing life also. I play accordeon (chromatic) since 19 years now and would like to borrow one on the way !
I have the dream to build our house ourselves, so I love to DIY (especially woodworking)and still have a lot to learn on it. I also like to read books, even if recently didn't took enough time to do so.
Skills that I wish to learn : -electricity -plumbery - stonework -blacksmithing - how to process my own food (like cheese)
