Hello, I am Matilda, 19 years old and currently escapi g the German winter on a working holiday visa in Australia. I want to use workaway as a new way to explore this wonderful country and learn about animals and nature, as I have a lot of passion and experience in farm life and animal care. I am hardworking, easy going and cooperative. I amm exited to meet you :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I pretty much grew up with animals around - I was born on a farm with chickens, cows, cats and dogs, we owned a dog for the first 13 years of my life and I picked up and loved riding horses when I was only 6 years old. I learned from an early age how to treat animals and take good care of them, but also that farm life comes with responsibilities and duties.
I know how to handle animals, even in challenging situations, and I can take care of farm properties.
Additionally, I did mango packing as a job before and know how fruit farms work as well.
Last but not least (it‘s an obvious one), I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and step in where ever my help may be needed.
