Hey there! I’m Iranian, raised in New Zealand, and now living in Sydney, a mix of cultures that’s shaped my perspective on life and my love for exploring. Growing up between cultures gave me a deep appreciation for diversity and the beauty of different ways of living. It also left me with a constant itch to explore and connect, to hear people’s stories and share my own.

Food is one of my biggest passions along side movement and mindfulness . I’m always excited to try new dishes and explore different flavours. To me, food is a way to connect with others, share experiences, and learn about a culture.

I’ve also spent time working as a childcare educator, and being around kids brings me so much joy. Their endless curiosity and wonder inspire me to always stay open and learn and keep a playful nature in life.

This is my first time with Workaway, but I’m no stranger to jumping in and getting my hands dirty. I’ve hosted screen printing workshops for disadvantaged youth, and I’ve organized market stalls to help young creatives come together, share their work, and connect. It’s those moments when people get to be part of something bigger that really get me excited.

I’m the kind of person who’s always up for a good laugh, a new adventure, and learning something along the way. I don’t have it all figured out, but I show up with an open heart, ready to help, share, and make memories. Whether it’s lending a hand, sharing stories, or creating something fun together, I’m here for the ride.

  • Was könntest du arbeiten?

I grew up with my hands busy, helping my dad in his mechanic shop, changing tyres, test driving cars, and sneaking in as much play as I could. Sport was a big part of my life—skiing, snowboarding, anything that got me outside and moving. That love for the outdoors has stayed with me. Now, I find peace in the mountains, under the snow, or by the water, scuba diving and exploring the quiet world below.

Life has taken me in so many directions. I’ve worked in beauty therapy, spent time as a childcare educator (kids and their endless curiosity always make me smile), run screen printing workshops for disadvantaged youth, and now I work as an events director, keeping the wheels turning with a mix of organisation, logistics and quick problem-solving. Whatever I do, I’m happiest when I’m creating something out of nothing, It’s just who I am - Fixing up old furniture, sewing clothes, inventing new dishes in the kitchen. When the production kitchen at work needed a full paint job after being overrun with roaches, I grabbed a brush and got it done myself. I don’t mind getting stuck in, in fact, I enjoy it.
