Hi there :)
I'm Sandy and I decided that after a very stressful job in Germany, I would like to get to know other people and their lifestyles other than just doing a 9-5 office job.
That is the reason why I came to New Zealand. I love nature and being outdoors. I love hiking and I am very grateful to be able to see this beautiful country.
I love deeptalk, laughing, coffee and music.
Before my office job I did an apprenticeship as an interior decorator and was able to train my manual skills. I loved interior decorating because at the end of the day you could always see your progress.
I am an introvert and a fan of clear communication.
Since I came to New Zealand I have met so many heartwarming and friendly people and I am really grateful for that.
I think with everyone I get to know and exchange experiences with, I can learn and grow. This is why I love the idea of woofing.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I am not afraid of hard work.
Since I arrived in New Zealand I have helped different families with:
- weeding
- mowing the lawn
- watering the plants
- taking care of the dog (feeding, walking, showering)
- helping to create texts for a website to rent a room
- painting
- various little handy jobs around the house

My apprenticeship as an interior decorator taught me how to use the sewing machine, upholster chairs and couches, lay carpets and paint.

Was noch ...

I love a good game night - card and board games, movies and books as well as music (mostly R'n'B, afrobeats and Indie music, even though my most favorite bands are Imagine Dragons and Coldplay).
I also like walking, hiking and swimming.
Just recently I discovered that I really like stand up paddleboarding.
