Namaste to all the beautiful souls out there!

My name is Simona, originally from Czech Republic but feeling more as the citizen of the world/planet, all this beatiful Home we have here.

Growing up in the loving family which provided me with the possibilities to express myself in all the directions I felt. Always courious, always eager to learn, fun and easy going just wanted to enjoy my time.
After graduating high school in the field of tourism and hotel industry, the options were open to go and study a few things which were always calling me and I was always interested in them. Physiology for example, literature, philosophy. But it turns out that my always present side of traveler and explorer was stronger. Put couple things in my small backpack which I call home now and left to see this beautiful world we have.
The feeling of experiencing new cultures, traditions, environments, learning new languages and coustomes and just simply seeing new land is such an indescribable feeling for me that any university could give me more.
I found myself, lost myselft again, refound and just keep going in this spiral of growing, evolving, letting go what is not serving anymore and always taking in a new things. SHAPEBLE is wonderful word which doesnt get used a lot.

After traveling the world, volunteering in couple places, working as well, I found that life is only about LOVE, sharing it, giving it, showing it, learning it, and story keeps going. We always carry profound feelings for our loved ones, family, friends, but imagine carrying the same feelings for everything. Animals, plants, trees, the whole planet, life itself, all the human beings, even for those who you dont think they deserve it. Thats my ultime goal.
Which put me on the road of creating my little project of humanitarian|charity organization with the mission to Spread the Light. Reaching the idea of being able to travel to different places, founding less fortunate communities, people in need and providing them with everything what they deserve. Meanwhile enjoying my passion of making a little videos and raising awareness of the problems they are facing daily which most of the people dont even realize.

Vom Workawayer () für Host (Learn about permaculture in ...)

The experience of staying with Neal and Darlene is about sooooo much. It Its not only about immersing yourself in a foreigner culture, about permaculture/gardening/Nature, its about who they are as a people and how you spend the time you have with them. From doing various projects with Neal - you can learn tons in all different areas - we dived… read more into some plumbing, electricity, to finishing a bathtub, to working in the garden on water slopes, planting - its just a constant stream of experiences and learning opportunities. Not only that Neal has a great deal of experiences in so many fields(if its more physical, building stuff, getting the hands dirty, also in mental and intellectual with creating and building ideas), but meanwhile doing all these projects, there is plenty of time for conversations about literally everything!
And trust me, someone with such a world view has definitely something to say on anything.

If you are reading this and asking yourself why this should be right for you? Well, let me put some backstory to it. Neal comes from poverty, socially, economically and physically disadvantaged, coming from an environment where segregation and having different classes was daily bread. Yet, against various odds, starting with nothing, only with his dreams, willingness, mindset of never giving up, and hard work, he accomplished to live a blessed, adventurous life, full of travels, miracles, stories and experiences. A young boy who fell in love with boats and wanted to race them. Who started to work in docks just to be closer to that reality, who read everything he could about them, sea, water, sailing. Who through passion and learning taught himself to sail one, build one, and ended up racing one solo around the world.
To become an international speaker, author, boats and house builder, successful in various areas, businessman, someone involved in international politics, raising awareness and fighting for climate change, spreading the message of community, humanity and about the possibilities, power and choices we all have.
If you are at least a little bit curious, about anything, life, relationships, environment, anything, dont miss this opportunity. Not all the time in life we get presented with life changing opportunities, something that if you are perceptive and open to it, can have a huge impact on you. Teachers in our life, who spark something in us. Who are the living examples of what they are preaching.
Neal and Darlene are both great time, wonderful souls who are kind, generous, fun to hang out with, smart and so much more. Having fun and interesting, wild stories to share, Darlene is an amazing cook with all different perks, deserts and tastes that you wont get anywhere else in DR, to living in a beautiful natural environment in the mountains of the island. Having a beautiful community of friendly dominicans/haitians around, its really time to be cherished.

vom Host (Learn about permaculture in ...) für Workawayer ()

Simona wanted to join us but we are sailing away and timing does not work. She happened to be close by and was able to join us for an afternoon. What a wonderful person. Great conversation, wonderful spirit and definitely made a new friend. Just a pity the timing does not work as it would be enjoyable to have her with us.
