hi there!
My name is Sofia, 25 years young and curretly traveling and studying around the world - and would love to spend experiencing and learn practically!!
I am an open and always happy person (especially when the sun is shining). Everywhere I travel I want to give something back to the people and nature since I expect that to be the most sustainable, worthy and authentic way to travel.
HOW I CAN HELP YOU:
• Eventplanning/Marketing/Social Media/Organizing Staff: I finished an apprenticeship as an event planning assistent in which I had three years of organizing events (as much as possible due to the pandemic) managing the staff and planning the project and marketing at a public swimming pool in my hometown.
• I worked around the world in different Workaway's in Peru, Colombi, India and Thailand 🗺️ I've worked on different types of farms, dog shelters, hotels, childcare, schools, tourism, upcycling and women empowerment projects 👩🌾
• Gardening: I was a mom to many plants and I would be interested to learn more about (alternative ways of) growing local vegetables, herbs.🌱🪴
• Animal Care: In my hometown I help out at the local animal shelter every once in a while and grew up with dogs and cats around. I'm a big animal lover. 🐾
• Living a better future life: Helping with literally every help that is needed like clean ups, promote sustainability, educate,... I am happy to give something back to nature and make the world a better place.
• Ho(s)tel, Bar, Restaurant: I worked at a Hotel for a month and have a lot of experience bartending in Germany. 🍻🍸
• Childcare, teaching languages or just some company for you, your kids and /or animals. :)
• Study Knowledge: I have studied stustainability science, right now I am studying communication psychology. Maybe my knowledge on water or nutrient cycles and positive communication helps you. If not, I will ensure that I am 101% motivated to do sustainable projects!
Despite my experiences I am not afraid to get my hands dirty and would be happy to help out with whatever is necessary. I will try to learn every task as fast as I can if you give me the opportunity to do so!

Since I am 15 years I am working part-time as a waitress in different restaurants. I fell in love with the job and started an apprenticeship as an event planning assistant at a public swimming pool in my hometown in Germany (organising concerts, accounting, marketing and the day to day business). While working there, I also gained a life saving and first-aid certificate. Furthermore, I have experience in babysitting and working with pets at the local animal rescue center. Due to Covid I started even more hobbies like craftsmanship but I am still learning :)

I regularly practice yoga and meditation, like to go hiking and basically be in the nature as much as possible. I love to experience different cultures and impressions I collected during my travels. I am happy to share these with you but even more I would love to get to know your experiences, traditions and hobbies!
