Hi, we're two friends who met while studying psychology and hit it off incredibly well with our humour, appetite and zest for life. As fate would have it, we also studied together in Istanbul for half a year which made us even more inseparable. When our energies come together, we bring out the best in each other and spread positivity to the world.
We are two upbeat smilley people, eager to explore diverse cultures, savor delicious food, and connect with the unique people around the world. We enjoy dancing, music, singing, all kinds of sports. We also love to soak up sunny days at the beach, whether with a good book or engaging conversation.
So why workaway? Well due to our love for the human mind and fascination of psychology we would love to encounter people with all kinds of backgrounds as we believe it will enrich us more then siting behind the desk only studying it. We both share the love for learning about new cultures and are willing to jump at every oportunity that will bring us new experiences.
Even though this will be our first workwaway experience, we both volunteered for many years in various organizations, taking care of elders, teaching children and for the past two years we have been regularly volunteering in hospitals, either in psychiatric department or other. Throughout these experiences we understood the beauty of giving and getting so much back in many ways :)

We're experienced in teaching English and eager to enhance our Spanish skills, which we began learning in high school but we keep forgetting it as we don´t have anyone to practise with. Would be lovely to improve. And of course we´ll be happy to teach you some basic Czech :)

Was könntest du arbeiten?
This year, we both completed our bachelor's degrees in Psychology. Together, we spent a semester studying abroad in Istanbul as part of the Erasmus+ exchange program. Due to our passion for Psychology, we strive to educate ourselves beyond our academic studies, participating in various courses and internships.
Michaela currently works as a lecturer for a primary prevention program in schools and as an English teacher. She has previous experience working in a café, leading summer camps for children, and working in the entertainment industry.
Terezie works as a babysitter and bartender at a venue that hosts various concerts. She also worked in a nursing home as a nursing assistant and cared for immobile patients. She has experience leading summer camps and working as a hostess.
We both volunteer as teachers for underprivileged children and have volunteered with the elderly. Together, we have developed programs for patients in psychiatric hospitals and have been regularly visiting patients across various hospital departments for a year, providing support and companionship during difficult times.
