The Backpackers, are based in Turin, Italy. We work during the week and love to relax on weekends, often hiking in the mountains to connect with nature and explore stunning landscapes.

Beschreibung

Hello everyone! We are Alex and Sabrina, and together we are The Backpacker's Couple! We are a couple of world travelers who unite cultures and create the right balance in sharing the love for our own land and for others' lands. Together, we have traveled different countries in Europe and around the world such as Croatia, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Brasil, Colombia and many others. Each trip has enriched our lives and our perspectives for the future, which is why we are now joining the Workaway project. We are excited to engage in new experiences and communities. Our passion for travel has taught us the importance of hospitality and sharing. We are ready to help you with various projects, from agriculture to renovation, from cooking to animal care. Our flexibility and adventurous spirit allow us to adapt to any situation.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We are a passionate couple with different skills and experiences. I have a diploma in Food and Beverage, and Sabrina graduated from a Languages High School. Right now, I work as a bar manager, and Sabrina is an accountant. We enjoy our jobs and like to create a friendly atmosphere for our customers.

Our work experiences are diverse and valuable. Sabrina has worked in children's entertainment during the summer, which taught her to be creative and to connect with them. I have worked as a bartender, waiter, and cook, gaining practical experience in food preparation and customer service.

We are eager to learn new skills and face any challenges. I am Romanian, and Sabrina is Colombian-Brazilian. We speak three languages: Portuguese, Spanish, and Romanian. Having lived in Italy for 15 to 20 years, we also speak Italian well. We have studied English, French, and German in school, and we are excited to share our language skills while learning from others.

Besides our work skills, we know a little about gardening and love nature and animals. We believe in the beauty of the outdoors and enjoy connecting with the environment. We are also passionate about sports. Sabrina has been a football referee, while I was a volleyball player. We can also share our sports knowledge with you. We look forward to sharing our skills and experiences with hosts who value enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to grow together!
