Hey there! I'm Thomas, a 21-year-old French student on exchange in Quebec since August 2024. After two years in Bordeaux, I packed my backpack and set off on an adventure across the Atlantic! Passionate about urban planning and sustainable development, I'm always on the lookout for new ideas to make our cities greener and more vibrant.

What gets me going? Unexpected encounters and genuine connections. I've hitchhiked across Europe, from Paris to Varna in Bulgaria, and every mile brought me closer to others. I've also had two incredible Workaway experiences in Swedish Lapland and Romania, where I learned to live simply and appreciate every moment.

When I'm not exploring the world, I'm writing. My first book, "Tout ce qui brûle finit par s'éteindre," is currently being edited. Music and theater are also my playgrounds: guitar, piano, and stage, nothing stops me!

My ultimate dream? Setting sail and learning to navigate to discover new horizons.

Salut ! C'est Thomas, 21 ans, étudiant français en échange au Québec depuis août 2024. Après deux années à Bordeaux, j'ai décidé de prendre mon sac à dos et de partir à l'aventure de l'autre côté de l'Atlantique ! Passionné par l'urbanisme et l'aménagement durable, je suis toujours à la recherche de nouvelles idées pour rendre nos villes plus vertes et plus vivantes.

Ce qui me fait vibrer ? Les rencontres improbables et les échanges authentiques. J'ai traversé l'Europe en stop, de Paris à Varna en Bulgarie, et chaque kilomètre parcouru m'a rapproché un peu plus des autres. J'ai aussi vécu deux expériences incroyables avec Workaway, en Laponie suédoise et en Roumanie, où j'ai appris à vivre simplement et à apprécier chaque instant.

Quand je ne suis pas en train d'explorer le monde, j'écris. Mon premier livre, "Tout ce qui brûle finit par s'éteindre," est en cours d'édition. La musique et le théâtre sont aussi mes terrains de jeu : guitare, piano, et scène, rien ne m'arrête !

Mon rêve ultime ? Prendre le large et apprendre à naviguer pour découvrir de nouveaux horizons.

I am involved in many associations and organizations. I am used to working with people. I believe that we can learn from the youngest and the oldest and everybody. I like to exchange, learn and discover. I am a very independent, curious and persevering person. I do theater and music, for me the art is of great importance in my development and the changes of the world.

As part of my personal commitments, I went on a roadtrip from Angers to Bordeaux in France for a week in August 2021 with another young person of my age to meet those who want to change the world (in any way). After this adventure we decided to make a short film about it. "Convergence", inspired by the films of Cyril Dion (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ntoyZmUFnlQ)
I love doing autstop. I travelled around the France by autostop.
