Hello everyone,
I'm Jacopo, a 30 years old Italian

After working several years as a nurse between germany and italy, I grew a passion for travel that has now led me to take a break from work and put myself on the road to discover more about the world, the people in it and myself.

My plan is to travel the whole west cost of South America starting in December from Peru and go up to Peru, Ecuador and Colombia to improve my surf skills and learn Spanish.

I always try to look on the bright side and learn something from what happens to me and from the people I meet. It makes me live better :D

I would like to improve my Spanish skills during this trip. As Italian and a 3 languages speaker I can understand almost everything about Spanish, but I need to practice the language. After living 4 years in Germany and having a C1 language certificate I am able to speak it fluently and be able to teach it, as well as Italian, which is my native language. I can also speak English, in which I can have a full conversation and talk about everything.

I have been a nurse for six years , which has helped me know how to be in contact with people and how to handle different situations, including difficult ones.
I have been running my own Airbnb for the past two years, which has developed my hospitality skills and management of online advertisements to maximize income.
I enjoy DIY and am quite good at it (I did a lot of little works to my apartment to make it ready to be an Airbnb)

I like to have contact with people, I think we can learn always something from them.
I like sports, I train for open water swimming and for the past few years I have been into surfing, after snowboarding for years.
I like music and I play guitar a little bit, I like being outdoors and I am always open for some new activity and experience.
