Hello! I'm Yuma.
I have had experiences of working exchange (wwoofing, workaway... etc) for 11 months in NZ and 7 months in Japan.

I really enjoy working exchange, sharing wonderful moments!
I started it because I would like to experience lots of natural earthy lives, different hosts have different tips for their survive, I enjoy joining their everyday, really appreciate them!

I enjoy daily farm life activities (gardening, tree planting, pruning, trimming, lawn mower, weed eater, chain sawing, raking, demolishing, poo picking, feeding animals, wood splitter, cleaning chock house, cleaning human house, worshipping rain, sun, and all the nature...)
I'm keen to learn skills of buildings, self sufficiency, off grid, wild life, permaculture, music...etc.

I am easy going and very self contained.
I try new experience with can-do attitude, to be a handyman, I love physically super hard works, whistling while doing hard work... oh of course I do all the works carefully, try to do my best. I keep beginner's humility in mind, aware that lots of things can be dangerous.

Some people say I have got a great sense of humor, some people say I am very quiet like a ghost.

I may not know a lot about Japan even though I grew up in Japan. But speaking of Japanesy Yuma, it would be that I have backgrounds in martial arts, Shorinji Kempo (which is based on Buddha's teachings) and Kyudo (Japanese archery), so hopefully I have got Zen mind or meditative attitude in every moment...(as much as possible)

And I really appreciate and respect nature, and love music, enjoy sitting in front of the piano, letting the body move to push the keys of piano and feeling the vibrations which piano offers to us.

I try to keep remembering what one man said, "loving and respecting for all beings, praying for all happiness invites our happiness."

my travel history is ...

Until Dec 2021, I was staying in India for more than 2 years.
In India,
I was joining the praying gathering (which is called Satsang) everyday at the temple (which is called Ashram),
and I was playing the harmonium (Indian traditional musical instrument) in the gathering of singing Indian hymns (which is called Kirtan).

In 2022, working exchange in Japan for 7 months

In 2023 and 2024, working exchange in NZ for 11 months, and visiting friends in NZ for 5 months

Since September 2024, I have been in Australia!
