Beschreibung

Our travel life= My husband works full time online as an IT engineer, and I'm a free fairy, who dances around contemplating life, helping others but also teaches yoga when the opportunity arises. Along with a massive amount of other skills...please see skills below.

Our reason for Workaway= We love to live a rural or alternate lifestyle especially in a remote part of the world. The reason why we are on workaway is because we believe it's the best way to integrate into a country. Helping communities, farms, eco projects, exploring new places with local knowledge, learning their culture, and learning their native language.

Georgina's life story.....

💛2023- I was travelling Sri Lanka for 6 months teaching Yoga and India for 3 months learning Tantra and Buddhism. Then I arrived back in Slovenia this summer with my darling Uroš where I now volunteer for an Organization called Zavod Bob a Community Youth Center.

💛2022 I've been following my heart. I've finally taken a step into the things I cherish the most! Septemeber last year, I completed my 200h TTC yoga training in Rishikesh. Travelled India, volunteering in Sadhana Forest in Auroville whilst teaching a little Dance & Yoga.

🔅Sep 2021 Jan 2022 Been volunteering on an Animal Sanctuary in Slovenia, whilst studying Shakti Dance. Looking after 90 animals raging from; donkey, horses, turtles, goats, cows, pigs, etc, etc.

🦋 Summer 2020 I volunteered in Germany, Italy and Portugal. Germany I cooked vegan food for an acro yoga training. Italy I helped with various farming and maintenance in community called Zonca. Furthermore in Portugal I helped at another community building tipi tents and fencing out of eucalyptus trees. As well as other jobs around the farm at Quinta Alma.

🌻During lock down I've acquired some new skills, working in construction labouring (concreting) for my dad and brother, therefore not afraid of hard graft work and long shift hours.

🌟Two years ago I volunteered in Japan, learning about rice farms; paper making from plants; the harvest of Ocha (tea); and all kinds of other vegetables.

🌈Before all of the above I've generally been an outdoors activities guide for 7 years now. Activities include; instructing skiing & snowboarding, horse riding, climbing and general fun outdoors activities.

🍭Alongside all of those skills, since I was about 16 years old, I've spent years in hospitality and customer service. Furthermore throughout my life I've also worked in child care, sales, delivery driver, promotions, traffic control and housekeeping.

Uroš life story.....

💛 He's a very grounded soul, who has spent 15 years working hard in Slovenia, for a company as n IT architect. He's an outstanding professional who comes up with high-level solutions for business applications, systems, portfolios, infrastructures, or an entire enterprise. He develops IT services and solutions for companies and organizations and often design and manage communications, security, networking, storage, and so on.

🔅He's comes from a hard working family who owns very large plots of land in Slovenia, therefore grew up as a farm boy working with live stock, tractors, ploughing, cutting wood, etc, etc.

🦋He loves animals and nature, he's volunteered for animal sanctuary's around Europe helping with building, taking care of animals and general maintenance.

BOTH OF US- Winter 2024 Volunteering has been a DREAM! We had an amazing opportunity to help with malamute dog sledding team, Miles of Smiles! Living in rural Sweden in the mountains, learning how to become mushers, connecting with dogs has been a truly unforgettable experience. Built fencing, wooden roofs and tables from trees, built cages and plenty of gardening.

Was noch ...

We both practise yoga & meditation on a daily basis. We both love poi and festivals, also sober raving. I love dancing and creative movement. I'm studying yoga constantly, to deepen my practice and most recently been very interested in Ayurveda.
