Hello! My name is Elena, 24 years old and I am from The Netherlands. I enjoy spending time around other people and get joy from learning about their life and culture. My interests lie in the outdoors, medicine, psychology, sustainability, doing sports, reading good books, eco-living and almost any kind of music. I always try to be as open-minded and positive as possible.
Furthermore, I am finishing up my medical degree the upcoming year in the Netherlands. The past two months I have spend learning from- and working with amazing staff in a rural hospital in Sierra Leone. I want to expand my knowledge on global health in the upcoming years, and am eager to find new opportunities.

I am a tidy and organized person who is willing to work hard. I love being in nature and try to treat the planet as best as I can. I adapt pretty quickly and can therefore see myself fit in at many places. I love working together with other people while helping each other out. I am a clear communicator as well as a quick learner.

I am an enthusiastic 21 year old student, and very excited about experiencing new things. In my hometown I work in the hospital and volunteer in a small music stage behind the entrance and the bar. I feel quite inexperienced with working/volunteering, but I think that makes me all the more excited about starting new projects.
