Beschreibung

Hello! We are Ronja (23) and Hannah (26), a couple for 3 years.

I (Hannah) grew up near Cologne with my parents, my younger (but not so small) brother and our dog named Pepe.
Since moving out, I can’t wait to get a dog of my own, and I take every chance to cuddle cute animals. I have a keen eye for detail, and working as a photographer is my daily joy. Furthermore, I love to play soccer, cook, and I am very interested in developing my craftsmanship.

I (Ronja) moved out of my family home near Frankfurt when I was nineteen. I grew up in a patchwork family, with my mother and father marrying someone else, and I couldn’t wish it otherwise. It has brought me the best little sister and cats! I have been a creative person for as long as I can remember, and I walk around with endless ideas that I want to turn into real-life projects. I love to draw and handcraft, and I started crocheting last year. In the future, I’d love to study illustration and eventually illustrate children’s books (that would be the dream).

We met during our professional training in film and are both now working in this field. Every day, we are involved in video production, standing behind a camera and editing (mostly for social media), and we’d be happy to contribute in this area if there’s interest.

We want to break free from the daily 9 to 5 German routine and see something else. We have never been that far away from "home," but we have wished to visit New Zealand for years (even before we met!), and we have been working towards this goal for quite a while. We would love to learn about the culture, experience the nature, and grow individually as well as as a couple while traveling together. We long for new perspectives on life.

We’re looking forward to meeting new people, learning new skills, and inspiring each other!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

(Hannah)
I was always the one in my friend group who took photos and videos of every moment, and four years ago, I turned my hobby into a profession.

In Germany, I worked full-time as a photographer and videographer, capturing authentic moments and creating engaging visual content.

I grew up with dogs and love them with all my heart.

Additionally, I completed a Bundesfreiwilligendienst (Federal Volunteer Service), where I worked in an elementary school and gained valuable experience working with children. I have also been involved in various children’s projects, including a children’s theater group.

I enjoy being a host, love cooking, and have a passion for coffee. I also enjoy being hands-on at home, helping in the family garden, and picking apples from the apple tree. I can even repair the dishwasher using a YouTube tutorial.

I would say my biggest skill is my creativity in terms of creative projects. I can draw, craft and I love to create something new in general.
I love working outside and would love to learn more about gardening and agriculture.
I am also experienced in filming videos and editing them due to my close to 4 year experience.
Other than that I would say that I am good at building stuff, but sadly I can’t carry too much weight.
I helped my sister with her homework all the time because I was the most patient one and I loved helping.
I am good with people and can easily adjust to new environments
I am very good with cats since I grew up with two at my mothers, two at my fathers and all free walking cats in our area.
I am hard working and ready to learn.
My friends describe me as kind, funny and dedicated.

Was noch ...

Hannah and I have dreamed about new zealand for about two and a half years now (together at least)
I wanted to visit after I finished school which sadly was in the beginning of the covid 19 outbreak so it got delayed.
First I wanted to visit as an au pair but with me growing up & working I knew that I would benefit more from a work and travel. I since then learned how to film and would love to capture new zealand on camera.
Also Hannah and I were thinking that we could maybe film some kind of documentary, which we currently don’t know the theme yet -but that would be a dream come true :)
