Hi, I'm Hannah! I'm 25 years old and was raised in Hamburg, Germany - I am an independent, open-minded, and curious soul, music enthusiast, and ocean lover.

I am a university student of educational sciences, languages and history and I am excited to spend my time between semesters exploring new places, immersing myself in the culture, spending time in nature, and connecting with others. I am happiest when surrounded by like-minded people, preferably close to the sea, while exchanging ideas and perspectives, making music together, and enjoying good vegan/vegetarian food.

My ideal workaway experience would be one where I am able to help out with children and/or household tasks while also getting to know a new place with its unique culture and history, sharing kindness and companionship with others and enjoying the beauty of nature and vibrant cities.

I've spent many months abroad in Canada and France going to school while staying with host families. I really enjoyed taking part in their everyday lives and helping out with everything I could, and would love to continue gaining these first-hand insights into life in other countries by doing workaway.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

Practical skills:
I enjoy cooking and preparing vegan/vegetarian food.
I am able to help around the house with light maintenance/housekeeping tasks: cleaning, laundry, vacuuming, organizing and tidying. I am a very organized person who enjoys keeping things in order. I'd love to gather more hands-on experience in painting and gardening as well. Always eager to learn more!
I have experience looking after children from age 7 and up, especially teaching and tutoring.

Academic skills:
I have a Bachelor's of Education degree in Englisch, history, and German as a foreign language, and I am currently completing my Master's in the same field. I therefore have in-depth knowledge of languages, history, literature, translation, creative writing as well as teaching methods and didactics, all of which I'd be happy to share and put to use.
I've also been making music my entire life - I have plenty of experience in songwriting and music arrangement, vocal training, and choir conducting.
