Sobre mí
¡Hola! Soy Julia de Tokio, Japón (soy mitad japonesa, mitad estadounidense). Soy una viajera positiva, tranquila y curiosa :) Mis amigos a menudo me llaman “sol” — como el sol — llevando optimismo y calidez a donde sea que voy.

Después de trabajar en tecnología, estoy tomando un tiempo para viajar, conectar con la naturaleza y aprender sobre diferentes culturas mientras hago la transición hacia el campo humanitario. Hablo tres idiomas (inglés, japonés y francés) y me encantaría compartir las tradiciones japonesas auténticas — desde el idioma hasta la comida — durante mi viaje.

Pasiones
Me interesa profundamente la salud mental global y el bienestar holístico, y cómo la naturaleza puede traer salud y paz a las vidas de las personas.

Intereses
Disfruto del crochet, la escritura en mi diario, correr, aprender idiomas, ver películas y tener conversaciones significativas mientras tomo café, té o vino :)

Viajes y Voluntariado
He viajado como mochilera por la India y América del Sur, y he hecho voluntariado con empresas sociales en Filipinas, Nepal y Camboya. Soy principiante en español, pero creo que una sonrisa y energía positiva siempre ayudan.

About Me

Holà! I’m Julia from Tokyo, Japan (I am half Japanese, half American). I am a positive, calm, and curious traveler :) Friends often call me a “sol” — like the sun — bringing optimism and warmth wherever I go.

After working in tech, I’m taking time to travel, connect with nature, and learn about different cultures as I shift into the humanitarian field. I’m trilingual (English Japanese, and French) and would love to share authentic Japanese traditions — from language to food — during my journey.

Passions

I’m deeply interested in global mental health and holistic well-being, and how nature can bring health and peace to people’s lives.

Interests

I enjoy crocheting, journaling, running, learning languages, watching films, and having meaningful conversations over coffee, tea, or wine :)

Travel & Volunteering

I’ve backpacked through India and South America, and volunteered with social businesses in the Philippines, Nepal, and Cambodia. I’m a beginner in Spanish, but I believe a smile and positive energy always help!

Was könntest du arbeiten?

I love cooking and can prepare Japanese and American dishes, along with authentic Indian chai! In terms of other skills, I’ve helped friends with garden work and farming, and while I’m not a specialist, I’m physically active and have the strength for outdoor tasks. I’ve also been teaching English to children for 5 years, so I’m comfortable with childcare. Lastly, I enjoy crochet and am good at detailed, careful work.
