Last year in 2024, I visited Spain on vacation over the summer and fell in love with Europe. So I decided to come back here for a year on a working holiday visa, and I'm really excited to explore this part of the world and immerse myself in Spanish. I have always been curious about other cultures and languages (not only Spanish) and I'm always excited to share mine too. Being from New Zealand, it's incredible to be in a part of the world where you can quickly and easily hop across the boarder and be in a completely different country with it's own language, history and culture! I'm excited for what this year away from my home will bring - a mix of travelling, working, and hopefully some work-away experiences too!

I am open to different types of workaway experiences - au pair, animal care, helping out on a farm, working in a hostel. I think it's a beautiful way to explore the world, share experiences, knowledge and grow. I would hope any workaway experience I have would be more than a work exchange, but also having friendly and interesting chats, feeling of belonging to the family or community, and bringing something of value to whichever place I am in.

A little bit more about me - my hobbies are nature photography, embroidery, hiking and movies. I also enjoy experiencing new things, whether it's food, activities or sport - I've tried rock climbing, paddleboarding, camping, skydiving, and strongly believe it's never too late to find a new passion in life. I love all kinds of animals (especially cats, which I have had for most of my life) and feel comfortable around them. I'm a fairly easy going person, like to have a good laugh, but hardworking and responsible when it comes to work. If you have any questions for me, let me know.
