Hi! We're Camélie and Shanti. We have been friends since kindergarten and it has been a dream of ours to one day travel together. We both think that workaway is a great opportunity for us to explore the world and help people.
We love animals and nature as we have been in contact with both since we were kids. Together, we were in the scouts for 6 years so we have picked up from it great values such as teamwork and integrity. Furthermore, we have been traveling with our families all our lives, have a lot of camping experience and learnt a couple survival skills along the way.
Montréal in Québec/Canada is our hometown so our first language is French. However we do speak English fluently with a bit of a accent unfortunatly :)
We are both very creative and love art. We love to cook delicious meals and are both happy to help with housework and cleaning. Cultural exchange is a big part of why we want to travel. We would love to learn about your culture and share ours if you are interested.
Work ethic is important for us and we are hard workers. Both of us have a great sense of initiative and show ressourcefulness once we are accustomed to the general tasks.

Was könntest du arbeiten?

We cook well and could make you discover different meals from our culture.
We both have experience babysitting children and enjoy spending time with them.
We also worked in grocery stores so we know how to handle clients of all kinds with patience.
We would love to help you with some gardening as we ourselves have gardens at home.
We are fast learners so if there is anything else you need us to do and that you can teach us we would be more than happy to develop new skills!

Was noch ...

Shanti LOVES painting, drawing and crafting and is constantly creating something from whatever she has in her hands! We both love reading, and listening to music is a must. Camélie is really good at cooking and baking and is always looking for new recipes so if you have some to share she will be more than happy to learn them! She also loves to dye her hair all kinds of colors and paterns!!

  One of us is vegetarian but if you are not it won't be any trouble for me to modify my meals with other ingredients that i can get for myself. If you are interested I could make you my favourite vegetarian meals!
