Beschreibung

My name is Trang. I am from Vietnam and am 34 years old this year. I came to Singapore to study when I was 15 years old, and continued to work there after graduation for 6 years before taking hiatus from my corporate job in 2021.

I wish to live from a place of integrity and care. Working and living a 9-5
life in an impersonal job and face-value society was emotionally and motivationally draining. I didn't feel like I was living a life for myself, and inner feelings culminated to a point where a break from this life design was due. Since then, I have a taken a 2.5 year break and 1.5 year research-based masters' degree that afforded me the intended autonomy to examine for myself the ways towards more sustainability in everyday modern life.

Still it's a question of living a truly sustainable life for myself from the ground, that if I want to live lightly on the earth, I want to go back to the basic and essential first, and taking care of my livelihood directly so I can afford to do in a way that I can exert care, and being a living example vs. still serving within the existing systems and construct and living still detached from nature. I derive joy from doing and making, from connecting, from living with care and extending care. Living in a life being provided for by the systems doesn't give me much space for the above.

I finished my thesis in Mar and since Apr 2025 have been travelling in Europe, and currently in the UK, and next to Ireland, to immerse myself in living closer to nature, more down-to-earth, to bring myself further on the path of a life that requires me to take a big leap from where I've come from. In my heart, I would like to have a simple flowing down-to-earth life that allows me to live in alignment and the space to be, and act from here.

All in all, I wish to travel to expand my life experiences and gain life perspectives from this side of the world to inform in my own life, and for the merit of the journey, the interactions and contexts it brings.

- I am inquisitive, self-dependent, proactive, responsible, and observant.
- I read things and am curious about how things work, and so I am relatively informed about the logic of things.
- I am meticulous and care about doing a thoughtful and careful job, especially when it plays a foundational role. I also approach things optimally and efficiently.
- I am good with following directions and also figuring things on my own. I like to figure things out on my own, be experimental, and learn through experience and understanding.
- I cook frequently for myself.
- I keep my living spaces clean and tidy and I am good with housework.
- I can be resourceful with handy and improvisation tasks around the house.
- I enjoy doing physical labor work that I can manage. Through means of workaway, I have worked on construction of a wooden chalet, a brick wall, a wooden fence, preparing garden beds (removing weeds, composting), sowing seeds, planting seedlings, watering.

I am sensitive, reflective and introspective. I care about being thoughtful, considerate, truthful, sincere, understanding, accommodating, and sharing authentically.

My go-to hobby is singing. Singing comforts and releases my spirit. Practicing for it gives me lots of joy of self-discovery and good challenges.

I often ask myself questions and like to explore the depth of things.

I appreciate having personal space to retreat to and recharge when needed.

These days, I seek quiet environments and nature, and a life of inner peace.
